I use my Bronco as a daily driver and my off-roading is mostly light dune bashing and camping in the mountains. I live in a country called Oman, and we have extremely hot weather here, so I designed my upgrade path around reliability, cooling, and consistent performance in high ambient temperatures.

So this is everything I have done to my car in regards to engine performance:”**

• Intake & Charge System
• Injen cold air intake
• Injen / aftermarket upgraded charge pipes
• Turbosmart diverter valve
• Ported throttle body (just installed)

• Intercooler / Cooling
• CVF upgraded intercooler
• Lower-temperature thermostat
• High-capacity engine coolant
• Additional auxiliary fans to improve airflow and reduce heat-soak

• Exhaust System
• CVF downpipe
• Full 3-inch Custom exhaust system
• Single outlet setup with a resonator + muffler

• Ignition & Boost Control
• Ford Performance spark plugs
• Tune from a tuner experienced with the 2.7 platform

Performance Results
• Current dyno numbers: 358 whp / 435 wtq (on our local 98 fuel)
• Spool remains fast, daily drivability is excellent
• Power delivery is very smooth and consistent even on long dune climbs

Impressive! I've read elsewhere that the 2.7 Bronco has about 14% drivetrain loss for HP and 8% for torque. So you're at roughly 405hp and 470 ft.lbs. at the engine.

What was the ambient air temp when this dyno run was done? Also what kind of boost (psi) are you running on your custom tune?

How much did that all cost in Oman? Is it meeting your expectations? I should get 430 tq with just a Ford Performance Tune....

Yes, but how big are the wheels??? lol I have the 2.3L, which they've just cracked (I think?), so hopefully we'll have something a little less modest than the FP tune.

Judging by the numbers, I’m gonna guess it’s on the factory Sasquatch tires. It’s pretty close to what mine made with bolt ons and 93. The torque is just more conservative

Great numbers. I need to get my RIG to a dyno. Its great that these vehicles take well to mods and tunes.

14% would be on the low side for most SUV's, 8% would be the lowest I have ever heard for a vehicle.
