Just sharing my experience after moving to 37s on a non-sas Black Diamond. Someone recently posted a thread about an unexpected gas mileage increase after moving to 37s. I believe they had a Wildtrack? Anyway, I recently up'd my '24 non-sas BD to 37 K02s from 315 takeoff. I'm now seeing on average a 2+ mpg increase at highway speeds. Speed correction via Forscan is spot on. I'm running a Bilstein 2" coilover lift with a 3/4 body lift. Currently averaging 19-20mpg at 71-72mph (cruise control). At 75-77 I averaged 18-19mpg. Hardtop/Soft top no difference, if that matters. The truck is always in the right gear with zero hunting. Acceleration and torque not an issue. I don't wheel the truck, just lot's of long distance driving and some overlanding photography.

Looks great. I also have a non-Sasq BD. 35’s for now. 37’s after these wear out. 3/4” body lift on the shelf. I’m running the Eibachs. Wifey’s gonna need electric running boards before going any higher though.

Zero rubbing full lock. Since I am running OEM SAS rims, I also have 1" wheel spacers, which puts the offset at 0. I'll remove the spacer after upgrading the rims with a negative offset in the coming months

My lady is 5'3 and does complain a little. My original Territory 315s had about 25k miles on them, I sold the set for $625 after installing the K02s. Also, with the roof rails mounted, the truck fits inside my garage with a standard 7' height....barely with about 1/2" clearance.

Gas mileage increase for 37s definitely wasn't on my bingo card. Is this only for the 2.7? Anyone think this also effects 2.3l BB?

So you have the 3.73 gearing and 37’s? How’s day to day acceleration and driving?

Black Diamond build has 4.46 gears. Day to day driving and acceleration is fine. Still plenty of power, acceleration and speed...for an offroad vehicle on 37s. I mean honestly this is a dream to be able to achieve these mpg numbers with this setup.

Great Rig! I wish I knew how your getting that much MPG. I have 37 K02 with a 3 inch lift and getting about 12-13 mpg babying the throttle. Below is my upgrades to my BD to give you an idea the parts I used.

Interesting. What are your highway long distance mileage numbers? How accurate is your mileage correction...did you update via Forscan? Do you have the 2.7? Your rig is a bit more loaded than mine, especially the exterior, I don't have a winch etc. I'm only a couple of months in, let's see what happens with these numbers overtime.

I just installed a K&N filter last night. I'm wondering how that will, if at all, affect mileage.

**Just went back to look at your rig. Is it the factory Sasquatch package? If so, the only other factor I can see that would give you different numbers are the 4.7 gears, which I would think would give you better mileage than my 4.46? IDK. There are some very smart folks here that would be able to help explain this. Maybe 4.46, 2.7 with the 10 gears are a good match with 37s? I just don't know. We will see overtime.

It was factory SAS so I'm not sure.
