Hey guys, finally installed the Borla touring axleback on my 2.3. I purchased part #11973. Did a full install and sound clip vid on it. It’s very deep in person and pretty tame. Let me know what you think! I’ll post more videos once it’s broken in more in the future.

Looks and sounds great, Nicely done! I too wish Borla would address the slight dual-tip passenger side droop that many have reported both 2.3 and 2.7. Borla Touring is on my list of future upgrades!

Nicely done, thank you for posting. I'm thinking about the referenced exhaust or an AWE climber for my '24, 2.3L 7MT.

I have already installed the Ford tow package on mine. How much difficulty do you think that would add to the installation? Do you think I'd need to remove and reinstall the hitch receiver to get the Borla unit fitted well?

Sounds good, I hope you are happy with it. I think Borla mufflers sound really good though I don't think they can be big enough on the Bronco to really get the deep sound they can make.

It’s very deep in person, has a lot of bass

That's great. I had a supercharged 3.8 V6 with dual Borla XPS 18" long mufflers, and once they aged in a bit, they gave a decent rumble for a V6.

The Borla Touring was one of the first mods I did so it’s been almost a year. There should be no issue whatsoever with your hitch. Recommend leaving the foam on the tips till you are done with the install to protect them.

That’s what I did also. Did you notice a difference in sound after so many heat cycles / age? Did it get any louder?

It does seem a bit louder but not sure how that is possible with baffles instead of packing. You’ll like it. About as good as you’re going to get a 4 cyl to sound.
