I’d love to have the ForScan code !
From what I’m reading from guys that have forscan and what we know about the audio software not sure it will be able to be changed by forscan. It’s not going to be stored in the pcm or bcm but the head unit is my guess.

I’ll be going with the LCi6 since I am planning on amplification to multiple channels.

Audio Control LCi6
Internal Channel Summing
The LC6i has the unique ability to internally sum together multiple (4 or 6) input channels from the factory source unit into 2 channels. This is particularly handy when using the LC6i with a factory system that has multiple, actively crossed-over signals being sent from the OEM source unit or amplifier(s). For example, in some vehicles there is an actively crossed-over tweeter, midrange, and woofer all in the front of the vehi- cle. The LC6i lets you take all of those signals and sum them together to get a high-quality, full-range, pre-amp signal without the use of any additional cables or hardware. Internal jumpers allow you to sum the channels 2 and 3 to the main outputs, or keep them separate.

Does this allow fade and pan to still work with the head unit when you're using channel summing?

I would verify with Audio Control support but reading various forums it depends on how you setup. I plan to verify as well

I might have jumped the gun, I swore I read a few threads where the forscan code had been figured out but it looks like no one's cracked it.

Survey says........................................................F YEA!

Works, have caps on rear speakers and can tell there's more range and db. Did not need bar in vehicle or anything disconnected. Took about 10 min after hooked up to do the file install.

Now we just need to convince our local service shops to do this for us...

Makes sense that Ford would neuter low frequencies going to their cheap, paper 4 inch speakers. I plan on doing an audio upgrade immediately after receiving mine (assuming that ever happens) and I will be asking the dealer if this is possible. I'd eventually like to replace the rear 4 inch pods with some 6.5s or preferably some 6x9s pods.

Just tell the dealer you plan to install the sound bar and ask for the flash. Nothing says a dealer has to install the sound bar

@flip The instructions say this is for the 6 speaker system. With your experience, do you think this will work with the B&O system?
Let me check on our FE next week. If it shows up in FDRS for that VIN, it should. My gut tells me no.
