Sadly My dealer is small, they don’t have their own body shop. The shop they sent it to for alignment don’t know how to do it. Sent it twice and they “fixed” it twice. Taking it to a different dealers body shop would cost me money.the
striker is adjustable and the hinges also, but if alignment concern should take to dealer.
what is wrong?there are different ways to align depending on how is out of alignSadly My dealer is small, they don’t have their own body shop. Closing it requires more force than usual, I have to slam it shut. I’ve noticed the door is lower by 1/4” than the door on the opposite side. If I put a spacer in the hinge where it bolts to lift it up it fixes the problem, but it’s not a good solution because of the whole door looks higher.what is wrong?there are different ways to align depending on how is out of align
the striker has very limited amount of movement, they may have maxed it out already.looking at your pics does it line up with front door and fender ?Closing it requires more force than usual, I have to slam it shut. In other words I think I need to lower the striker to achieve the same effect but when I tried it didn’t budge. Thoughts?
