And just like that my 2022 Bronco (2.7L) oil capacity is now 6 quarts (down from 7 quarts), in the onboard Owners Manual, with an over the air update from Ford on 01/05/2023.
How do I know if my dipstick is the correct one? My vehicle was built in August 2022.

I got an alert that there was an update from Ford. I have already been aware about the oil capacity controversy.

Change your oil, put in 6 qts and insert your dipstick, withdraw dipstick, repeat if necessary.

All factory dipsticks are correct. There is no reason to change anything.

You're probably going to get slammed on for this thread in typical fashion. But I guess there are some people out there that aren't aware of the 500 threads about this already.

Heck I even found a mid 2021 article from BN that states 7 (which it is not). It will forever be a mystery.
