Thanks @Aman for the in-depth report! Did you happen to get a good look at the 2 door’s backseat legroom? Did it seem cramped or some what spacious?

Don't forget this 4Door is the soccer mom spec, and the 2 door has the rugged offroad accessories. I think this just tells me that sasquatching the 4 Door is more important than on the 2 door.

It doesn't look akward at all. It looks great! Just that, IMO, it doesn't look as good as the 2-door. Don't forget that this is Outer Banks vs Badlands. That difference has a lot to do with the looks.
That's a really good point! Ahhhh the decisions  ?

Did they happen to mention anything about the possibility of additional colors being offered when the B&P tool becomes available?

@Aman

Thanks for all of the feedback!

Two questions, if you dont mind:

Did the rear legroom in the 2 door and 4 door look to be in fact identical?

You mentioned that the 4 door cargo area is shallow. Did it feel like the "two and a half feet" deep that was brought up in the last Q&A? Some guys were calculating it was a good 3-4" deeper than that, and the "two and a half feet" was likely rounded down / not totally accurate.

In regards to 2 vs 4 doors, take into account the 4d is a non sasquatch Outer Banks with the top and roof on. The 2d is a Badlands that has higher suspension and larger tires, plus the doors removed. Naturally it's going to have a way cooler stance but a similarly equipped 4d wouldn't look so domesticated as that OB.

Closer to 2.5' than 3', but that was just eyeballing it.

It is amazing how much better it looks than the 4-door. I'm all for utility, but in person, the 2-door is straight fire!!! ???
In my opinion same with the 4 door Wrangler. Looks a bit like a long station wagon especially when the tires aren't large enough. Yet more people end up buying the 4 door in order to fit more passengers and have more room. 4 door will need larger tires, else it can look out of proportion.

Basically pick your poison. 2 door vehicles in my experience are nearly always more maneuverable and fun and look better. I recently bought a sports car and of course it's a two door. But with the right tire size and a few other items, I bet the 4 door Bronco will look nice.

Very good points. I wasn’t gonna get the Outerbanks anyways. Decisions decisions. Wish I could see them in person before ordering in December.

What's the purpose of connecting a cable between the hood tie downs and light bar/roof rack?
Cable antenna for communications via satellite telephone, T.V. , navigation, etc....

Updated 2PM Eastern with info and Q&A!

The cargo space in the 4-door is not as deep as I thought, but did not have an opportunity to measure it.
Will my 2 goldendoodles who are 60 and 90 lbs fit back there do you think? ?
