That's pretty crazy considering all manufacturers are super conservative these days.

My guess is it probably bolts down using the stock tie down rings locations.

Can you post some pictures (and maybe add them to your original post) on the tailgate folded away? Curious if there's something that holds it closed securely so when you hit the gas, it doesn't slide out and into your rear door each time.

It’s completely locked in place when it’s stowed or extended. No sliding back and forth.

Can you also post a pic with the back row down? I want confirmation this actually creates a flat surface to sleep on. Thanks! Also, I know Ford site won't let you add this and the tailgate table, but I imagine a tailgate table would be fine with it as long as you have the tailgate open all the way (beyond the 90 degree angle) because then the table wouldn't touch the slideout. I might end up getting that aftermarket, as I added the slideout already to my order, which is exact same as your rig besides the color. Enjoy!

Please tell us about the rear security drawer, is it an aftermarket item? Website?

It’s on the build and price, I have one I’m trying to sell. It was dealer installed and I don’t want it.

(follow the chain people, this is in response to a security drawer that was asked about, not the slide out table /facepalm)

The slide out looks nice and doesn’t look like it takes up too much room and you should still be able to store the doors in the back.

B&P doesn’t allow you to order on-board storage bags with the slide out for the BD and I am guessing other trims are the same. Probably more of a height thing than a weight thing, so I believe my dealer has to order me the other door bags instead once I added the slide out.

It says on Ford’s B&P that it “Prevents on-vehicle door storage”. I really want the slide out tailgate option, but wonder if I might want to carry my doors in the back. The thought of carrying the doors seems cool, but then again I may never actually do that. It‘s a tough call for me.
