Regardless of the "deterioration" rant, I don't think anyone should reasonably expect a custom ordered vehicle would be parked outside in a holding lot for a few months prior to them being fully built. Buying a new vehicle off the lot, I don't have any expectation of its build history, given the opportunity cost of being able to buy it immediately.

All good points. And we live in weird times for sure. Last time I went to the pet store, I couldn't get the cat food and cat litter brand I use and no one could tell me when. I know it is trivial but nothing is normal right now.

To give some hope: I was told "In production" with an ETA of 4/30 over and over for multiple weeks each time I checked in with chat. When I checked in on May 1 they finally told me "plant hold". Got a built email the morning of May 2nd.

The delivery dates in chat were crazy and moved around every week.

In my mind I was best friends with @Romano and @BroncoCMH since we were 3 in a row on the spreadsheet with no built email. I'm still rooting for you guys. #spreadsheetfriends

I got a shipped email this morning as well. 4/9 blend. Same dealership and same ETA dates.

The trackers have not updated but got this from Chat this morning. Maybe they are together since same dealer and all....

Oh geez, so if Ford is going LIFO, there were 2239 original 4/7-4/8 blends to get through...then another 415 for the 4/6 to get to mine. So @tbnlulz was 1821...that's, 2236 to go.

Funny how during the actual build week, we counted up waiting for the mods to pop on build for us. Now we're waiting for those AFTER us to get built/shipped emails to feel like their is progress.

Right every build after the scheduled 4/6 blend, folks have been explicitly told plant hold/not chip hold. Unlike us 4/6ers.

Yea, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason from what I have seen. Hang in there! Hoping you get yours soon!

I got my baby pic! yay!

Just got the rail car # from my sales guy and tracked it with CSW - while the shipping ETA is 6/4 - it is currently sitting on the tracks an hour away from me in Chester, PA in a "constructive placement" - which (per Google) means there is no one to pick it up and deliver it to dealer...I guess they have a month to work that out.....I know, I should be happy it moved at all but how frustrating to know it is so close!

Your OBX sounds identical to my OBX SAS except color and soft top, and mine arrived right during the original estimate given days after being built on 4/6. Someone else here or in another build thread mentioned OBX’s seemed to be getting completed at a higher rate. Wonder if there is truth to that, and if so, why? Was your SAS?
