My group is coming from Oklahoma, so we decided to hit Ouray to Telluride via Imogene Pass on the way to Moab. We’re getting pumped!!

I hope to see your post and follow up. Im heading to ouray and will be ther 6-10 and then to moab and back home for my 50th birthday. I keep reading imogene is usually closed then. At least i should get some good intell from you

I never even considered Imogene Pass would be closed. I have since learned you are correct. My group is probably going to leave a day later and just go straight to Moab.

Bronco Safari, hasn’t grown big enough to have that level of organizing as Easter Safari yet. Easter Jeep Safari gets a permit from BLM to close the trail during there events so by law they need to provide enough public notice. Bronco Safari is a little more laid back due to the small size.

You just never know how big it will get with Marketing Nation setting up a Base Camp this year

I hope so. I am a big fan of EJS of how organized they are have met some good people through the event. As I follow this thread it is definitely exciting to see so much interest from the 6g crowd. Next year I am going to attend Bronco Safari instead of EJS.

It might get there some day, but Jeep has sheer numbers advantage over the Bronco community having been in continuous production.
But I agree, well organized events are good for everyone.

I’ve finally worked out my schedule and I’m in. Was planning to join @Bikeric and his caravan through Imogene Pass on the way but just saw the update that it likely won’t be open yet…another road trip for later. I’m definitely looking forward to some trails with 6G folks.

When you do your Shafer/Potash/White Rim excursion soon, look behind this sign, we left you a small token of love.

FYI to the 5/1 Long Canyon/Shafer/ Potash guys. Still checking on Shafer trail status & it's still closed. We have been getting a lot of storms out here so not sure if Shafer will open or not. I have posted an alternate route on the spreadsheet incase Shafer is still closed when we are there.

Up Long Canyon, out to Dead Horse Point then out Gemini Bridges.
