Well justification for a good winch bumper then LOL
Perhaps with a judicious use of snatch blocks, pulleys, and extra line...
Harbor freight come along is $40? Let's not get complicated I like kinetic ropes lol.

CV shaft is ordered and 4/22 delivery date. Apparently no one stocks these other than eBay for $390.

It's fixed and it's a crappy job like $&#+ as your fighting everything. I would have loved to pull my lower a arms for the job but I didn't want to pull half my Metalcloak skids(Metalcloak skids have become one of my biggest regrets on this thing).

Passenger side inner cup destroyed, drove 10 miles home so no cage or bearings left!

I remember you saying this ever since we went on signal peak. This is the main reason why I went with JCR (well and the fact that their front skid was independent of any bumper I chose).

Their gas tank skid was a pita to install because I couldn't get things to line up. But the rest of their skids where very easy.

Sorry it didn't work out for ya.. looking forward to seeing you on the trail soon!

Glad to see someone out there pushing their rig to the limits. I’m in the same boat of looking for the right winch mount.

Update, removed 1" of front lift and 1/2" of rear lift. Front I removed my zone sas spacer 1.6" height and went to a 1" Rough Country leveling kit. I moved my preload down 1 notch on the front 5100s. Rear I did a strut relocation for 2 1/4" of lift (removed my zone 2" rear lift spacer) and lowered down my 5100s to no preload. So I am at 3" of front lift and 3 1/4" of rear lift.

Nice. I was looking at adjustable coilovers to address the weight induced rear squat I have but I've pretty well decided I'm just going to re-drill the lower shock mount holes like you did. Should level it and give me more clearance at the same time, for free.

Depending on what terrain your wheeling the extra preload really helps with stability. I can tell you I liked my 5100s with more preload for everything but slow speed crawling. If 6100s Bilsteins were $800 when I bought shocks I would be running then.

I intend to go long travel once a kit becomes available, so I'm doing my best not to buy interim shocks until then. I do think a little more preload would improve handling in my case, but getting it level would probably be more beneficial to handling than just additional preload, and running spacers isn't my jam. How'd the drilling go for you? Are the shock mounting tabs just regular mild steel?

@Tex I used my Milwaukee 12v right angle drill for the outside holes. Felt like hot rolled steel, way to soft. I think Ford designed the bracket to flex to not stress the welds.

I also cheated with a unibit, didn't want to go buy 2 drill bits.

That's not cheating, that's field expediency LOL

My new $500 project, I wanted a roof rack but this will work much better for camping.
