I need Toyota to confirm they are going to lock in the design and technology for the next two decades before I will commit interest.

I like it! Lots of improvements made. They really need to catch up to Ford and Jeep with their tech but this is a step in the right direction. Looking forward to the 4 Runner to see how it measures up!

4cyl looks like another dog…

Not ready for these hybrid powertrains in the higher trims either. Either give me an EV or give me a ICE but not this.
I could not agree more. Very underwhelming powertrain options. I can’t look past that to be bothered with anything else about these if Toyota is slapping a doggy four-cylinder on them, or band-aiding an electric motor hybrid system to boost the output of the higher trims. Hard pass.

That new TRD Pro driver seat with customized suspension sounds pretty nice!! I’m not hating the looks either. My wish would be the TRD Pro in XTRA cab without I-Force Max, but you can’t get it that way. In reality, you can’t pick what you want cafeteria style with any Toyota like you can with the Bronco. From a Toyota dealer you get what they have or you move along. That’s why I stick to new Bronco’s and old Toyota’s. 🤷‍♂️

My Toyota dealers let you custom order anything you want. Build it on the website, and they place your order.

And let's not act like Ford has any of the options you want available :ROFLMAO:

You Lucky Dog. Can I ask who your Toyota Dealer is? My local Toyota Dealers can’t do what yours can. I never said Ford would/could deliver what you order in a timely manner either LOL. (y)

That's a given, you're safe to go ahead and order.

If you HAD TO CHOOSE between a Toyota and A Ford off road vehicle to go into unchartered territory, which one would you pick?

Peterson, Edmark, and Hometown are my Toyota dealers.

I wanted a Wildtrak. Ford says no.
Fuck it, I'll get the base with a V6 and go long travel. Ford says no.
Can I get a hardtop? No.
Manual? No.

The only thing Ford is offering, I ain't wanting lol

Glad to hear they FINALLY gave this thing rear disk brakes, and a hybrid. But like others, I can pass on the iPad sticking out of the dash. And WHY do they have to have the embossed "TRD Pro" all over the tailgate? A sticker would be so much easier to remove.
