I realize that it may take quite a while to get it based on some of my choices being some pretty heavily constrained elements in the past...but as we crawl closer to production, I find myself getting more and more excited about it. I've only seen one HPR Bronco out in the wild and the color is very unique. Is it red? Is it orange? Does it look like a tomato? Lol. Just looks fun!

Edit - Gonna try to keep a running list of accessories I'm already buying for the Bronco:
-Mabett Dome Light

-ModCrate Latch bushings and plates (Badlands Orange)

I had really boiled it down to a Badlands, either SAS or non-SAS. after test driving those versions back to back, I felt that the SAS was super similar to non-SAS in road noise, general feel etc.
I also felt that if I got the non-SAS, I’d end up changing wheels, etc… basically turning it into a SAS lol. SAS package was close enough to how I envisioned my mods so the choice wasn’t too tough.

I had an 84 4runner for awhile, 4cyl, manual. I loved driving it, and was really set on a manual Bronco. But I couldn’t find one in the area to test drive… felt risky to order a manual w/o feeling it out.

i live & work in the same building & have a motorcycle for in-town errands so I’m okay with the 16mpg rating. Bronco will mostly be for road trips / trails / camping (sleeping in the back).

My wife and I had driven our 2004 Nissan Frontier 4x4 to the Arctic Circle & back, gone on weeks-long trips through the south, and over Rocky Mountains / Idaho / Utah / NM etc. That truck is loved, and it survived some super crazy situations in total stock format.

It’ll be sooooo nice to do more than just “survive” the crazy roads / passes / off-roads. Bronco Badlands seems like such overkill knowing where a stock pickup can take you…. can’t wait for that piece of mind!

I’m still debating on changing it to a Wildtrack but not sure I can Justify $2485 for Hoss 3.0 and a different grill. I also actually like the silver trim rings better

I waited for a 24 to go with my 74.
Been reading through the forums and trying to stay up on all the constraints and the many different timelines of others orders.

Re-ordered from MY 22 > 23 >24. 4 door OBX, hardtop, High/Lux. Canceled my 23 order last week as that dealership obviously had over ordered and did not have allocations. Fingers crossed the strikes are sorted out soon and we'll be getting build emails!

Adding a front camera to the Bronco via Sync 4 is a major PITA. You have to tear apart the entire dash to get to the connections.



I ended up buying a $50 wired cam from Chinazon and hooking it up to AUX6. Does the job... barely.

Hopefully Ford and the UAW can avoid any impacts to their trucks/Bronco production. Dealer seems to think that with Ford's recent and improved 2023 delivery times, things are looking more positive for 2024 deliveries but we all know that is a big unknown. My dealer has several 2023 spec'd out just like I'd want above (different colors) but decided to get the 2024 Model year and just wait for it. The price was essentially the same and dealer was offering $500 under MSRP on incoming 23 or ordered 2024.

There is one coming in about 2 weeks from now that is just exactly what I want as listed above (Carbonized Gray) but its a 2023. I can't decide if it makes sense to buy the 2023 or wait for the 2024 that I ordered. According to reports on YouTube the 2024 is getting some improvements:
-Head rests are going to 4 position vs fixed on the front seats in 23 and below years.
-Interior plastics are supposed to be enhanced/improved quality
-Badlands is supposed to get the upgraded steering gear like the WildTrak.

I have seen nothing published from Ford on any of the 3 points above so not sure what is actually happening for 2024 in these areas. The ordering guide mentions nothing about the upgraded steering gear on the Badlands but reports are that the 24 gets it.
