Concerned that the Goodyear M/T tire will not be a good highway tire for long trips.
If you were going to get another set of wheels and put highway tires what would you choose?
I am getting a Wildtrak with Sasquatch tires.
Found Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac that would fit.

Any other ideas?

I’ll do KO2’s, not sure on 33’s or 35’s yet.
35’s seam a bit much around town, but I like em.

Not really a fan of goodyear but duratrac are ok. A good a/t would be a BFG KO2.

Ford Bronco 2nd Wheel and Tire set for Highway driving 65E39168-081D-4358-A4BE-DD4BC5934F85

If your talking about the Sasquatch package, you may want to wait and see how these tires perform, they are not a true “mud terrain” they are “maximum traction” I think they may be decent all around tires.

Duratracs are fine and all but they wouldn't be my second, highway trip, tires at all.

If you're looking for something that you can run on the highway and still get a little rad with I second the K02s.

I know it's not the "cool" answer but I would just go for an actual set of street tires over an AT if you're looking to just hit the pavement.

I run the Faulkens wild peaks on both my F150 and FJ Cruiser and love them. Nice off-road and great on the highway. I see no reason not to run them on the Bronco. Not a fan of the KO2s. Had them on both vehicles as well... we ok on the FJ but sucked on the F150. Roared loud on both.

I also like Wildpeaks the best for all around AT tires. But it does seem a lot of hassle to swap out wheels for trips... and as others have said we don’t really know what these Goodyears are like. To prevent an EPA rating in the teens I assume Ford picked them to look tough but really be more designed for highway rolling...

THIS!! They won't be true Mud Terrains. The tread pattern looks similar the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's I'm currently running on my 2012 Ram and they have been very good both on and off road. Not loud at highway speeds and never an issue in the light off road usage I've done. Have 25K on them since July 2019 and very happy.

No, they actually have not been released yet, here is a video explaining the new tire. “Maximum Traction”

No way would I consider the duratrac a highway tire for road trips. Not even...

See them on all our work trucks, they are a tough rugged tire that does not puncture easily....but they are LOUD!!!

Have 'true" MT 35" tires on 2 of my vehicles and DD them. 40k miles on the one set and another 15k on the other set. KO2 AT 32.5" tires on another vehicle that is DD driven by the wife. I have zero problems driving my MT tires at speeds of 70-75mph and even faster when traveling through UT.

But the 4dr BL for the wife will be getting AT KO2s.

Not concerned - I know what I'm buying - good and the bad. I have no more room in my garage for 2nd sets of wheels & tires. If we need to take a long trip we'll likely take the wife's car. My Bronco won't even really be a daily driver for me since I commute into NYC and so won't be my station car either. This one is for me an for having fun and in the event the poo hits the fan and I need to get over and around stuff..
