I always get spot beam, with Baja D's you can buy different lenses after the fact. As far as color I run Amber covers on my BDs unless offroad, they simply pop on.

XL Single Rock Guard - Universal - Baja Designs - Off-Road LED & Laser Lights | Automotive, Jeep, Truck, UTV, ADV, Dirtbike
I just bought Rigid amber covers for my factory Rigid SR-M's, but was disappointed that with the lights on it's almost yellow. Is that expected? I suppose I'm going to have to buy amber lights to match the DRL amber?

Thank you. I just checked. Even though the order confirmation (from Auto Zone, not you) says "amber" I think I was sent the wrong covers . They say "amber" but are part #301933, where your amber part number is #301993.

Well that’s auto zone for ya :) we have them in stock and on hand

Amber and yellow are similar in skus but very different

Oh that’s smart then you can have the best of both worlds. So you bought all 3 pairs as spot whites then added for example combo lenses that allowed you to change out your patterns? The covers are smart because you could leave them amber the pop them off as the situation changed the need for different lights.
I have XL80's on the pillars, and Squadron's in the bumper(well not installed yet everything is sitting on the bench waiting for nice weather), but I'll leave the spot pattern for now and if I need one set of them spread more I can simple buy a combo spread/spot or all spread pattern Lenses and switch them out.
I just bought Rigid amber covers for my factory Rigid SR-M's, but was disappointed that with the lights on it's almost yellow. Is that expected? I suppose I'm going to have to buy amber lights to match the DRL amber?
Not sure about Rigid as everything I have is Baja Designs, but they do seem more yellow than amber. The amber/yellow whatever color is definitely easier on the eyes, and I was never worried about matching the amber color.

This is super helpful! Thank you! I’ve been going back and forth between combo and the driving beam. This makes sense.
I will also note that when off-road, I like to use both white lights together (fog and drive) and it does make a decent combo effect of wide and spread illumination, just not as "unlimited" as purpose built offroad patterns.

Im curious about your choice for fog light beam patterns. I daily drive onroad with occasional off-road trails in the Midwest.

Here is my question what brand and beam pattern did you go with for pocket fog lights on your modular bumper? And after running them what would you change?
Hey There!

I would be happy to help you with this if you still need any help. We are also located in the midwest, so we probably deal with similar driving conditions. Also, we have a patented plug-and-play harness system that makes install a breeze and completely customizable.
Our YouTube Channel has a plethora of videos that can likely help you with a visual representation of the different lights.
Here is a link to our channel in case you'd like to peruse some of our videos:

If you happen to look at any of our videos and have questions about any of the lights and patterns, or any of our wiring or brackets, please just let me know.
I am always happy to help in any way possible.

Here is a link to some of our kits for the Bronco, but we can customize pretty much anything to your liking and still make sure you are getting all of the possible kit discounts on everything:

You can call or text me directly at (317) 934-6778, or email me at [email protected], or you can just message me on here. If there's anything I can do to help you, please just let me know.

I hope you have a great day!

Cheers!

I'm running Diode Dynamics SS3 pods in SAE Fog pattern.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think you can switch the lenses out on the SS3 pods as well, just like the Baja ones.

And the pop on covers are cheap & easy. I have them for my ditch lights in dusty conditions, like at KOH.

Just don't try to make any mounting brackets, or you'll have mr copyright on your ass.

You sure can.

We stock them: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-auxiliary-lights/diode-dynamics/accessories/replacement-lenses/

With the Sport and Pro lights you need to match the colors though. If you have white lights you go with white lenses. Yellow lights get yellow lenses.

If you have Max lights it doesn't matter. If you have white lights you can go with white OR yellow and vice versa.

SS3 Sport and Pro lights use different diode temperatures on the between White and Yellow lights.
SS3 Max however use the same diode on the white and yellow lights.
