Has anyone mounted an awning to their rack? Really love the look of this one, but desperately searching and can't find any examples. I'm sure it can be done with some custom hardware. Looking to mount on the rear.

Also interested in the viability of getting a Kammok Outpost on here. Their mounting hardware looks pretty robust, but the attachment points on the sides of the Turn Offroad don't appear to line up well..

It sounds like you may have over tightened them. You want them snug, but that's it. I used hand tools to ensure they weren't over tightened either.
Cleaned up all the pads and the top really well, re-installed it and zero issues! Also put a little silicone grease on all the roof gaskets at the same time. All good now.

Friend of mine has his mounted on his Turn Half Rack on his two door. (On the back). It is an ARB 4' Awning I believe.

If he opens it up while driving, his Bronco will have a sweet cape…

I’m very interested in this half-rack for the 2-door, but I’m a little worried about the stress points, as it really only attaches with the two rear brackets. No one has experienced any looseness or seen stress cracks to the MIC top? @Turn Offroad … no issues reported?

We’ve never had any issues reported! It actually attaches in 4 locations. If you watch the product installation video on our website you can get an idea of how it mounts up! It’s on the product page at the bottom šŸ‘šŸ»

Cool. Maybe a semantic issue. I have watched the video, and it looks like the rear brackets ā€˜attach’ into the roof slots, but the front brackets just ā€˜sit’ on the roof (as there are not additional slots there). So the work of keeping the rack on the roof is really being done just by the two rear mounts—Isn’t that accurate?
