I believe another possible source of rattle is lack of pressure between the door and lower window seal. The gap on my truck is wider on the left than on right. I believe this could allow a enough up-down window motion to produce the rattle on the end of the strut mount.

Buy adjusting the left side of my window down I appear to have reduced or eliminated this noise. The window mount is designed with some up and down adjustment included.

I think I might have got a bum hard top. When it arrived, the rear window had scratches in the paint that were not from shipping. Turn Offroad immediately sent a new window.

When I installed the hard top for the first time, I noticed that one of the rear bolt hole was drilled out twice. Looks like they made a mistake and had to enlarge the hole and recenter it.

After installing twice to get it to sit well, this is how the rear corners look. That can't be normal, right?

I would send those photos to Todd and seek his advice on what adjustments you could make to the installation for improvement. Definitely too much space on your door to window set up.

I messaged Cole and applied his advice to the rear window. Mine was all the way up. Had to loosen the two 4mm hex head blots and pull the window down as low as I could to ensure the gasket was making full contact with the door. This worked like a champ.

Applied Turn’s latest fix on the back glass for water intrusion. Still get a couple small pancake sized puddles. I guess that’s as good as it’s going to get. And now the cover won’t stay on the wiper motor.

I have the same issue with the wiper motor cover. I'm going to use some gorilla glue and permanently attach it.

I also did the rear window stretch adjustment in addition to the extra Amazon window trim seal on the outer edge of the rear glass. I don’t have any more water intrusion, and it also helped me pinpoint where my squeaking noise is originating from. Now I can tell the rear window’s edge trim is rubbing against the upper edge of the tailgate when closed and going over terrain that causes excess vibration and flexing in the vehicle body. I think this has been addressed by some folks in the past with silicone?

What exactly was the fix?

I got a new seal sent to me but haven't had a chance to put it on yet. Was that all?

This little piece of weatherstripping or whatever. Goes in the 2 lower corners of the rear glass.

They send 2 sizes. Try the smaller one first. Still leaking? Put the larger one on.

@TURN Todd
@Turn Offroad

I had a major brain fart and just noticed the 10% off 4th of July sale ended today. I have been waiting for this sale. I was out of town all weekend. Any chance I could get a 1 day extension reward for my stupidity? That would be very appreciated and awesome.

Hello fellow Turn enthusiasts/warriors from the ADV scam saga that most of us endured 😂

I have also endured some leaks in the back by the rear window. It seemed to have only occurred on the left side. Todd sent me some of the weather stripping that goes around the inside rim where the rear window sits. I'm uncertain about how to strip off that existing seal and wanted to ask how other did this? It's on there pretty good and when I tried to take a knife to it, only the first few inches came off. I just want to make sure I'm doing this right before switching out the strip. Appreciate the help.

I’m assuming using some heat would be helpful with the adhesive.

Looks like you’re in Texas, so that shouldn’t be an issue lol. Or use a blow dryer/heat gun (careful you don’t damage the top, of course) and it should help with the adhesive.

I was looking into buying a TOR hard top, but they don't seem to ship to Canada (or at least not my address) any longer.

You might have to get a quote for the shipping direct from them (via phone or email). I think that's what @604Bronco had to do if memory serves me correctly
