We already have sensing wipers in the Bronco? I sense rain, i turn em on, crazy how that works.

I don't like any of the automatic crap. The manual wipers with several interval delay setttings works great. Same with HVAC -- just give me a blower and temperature knob I vastly prefer it over automatic.I’ve had rain sensing wipers on 3 cars now. All different brands. Not 1 of them worked correctly. Most of the time they are too fast and I’ve got to listen to the blade scraping across a dry windshield. I find that feature miserable. Glad it’s not on my bronco. Adjusting the wipers to the speed I like takes 0 effort.
My favorite is when they go off when bugs hit the windshield. My 19 expedition was horrible
chuckle...good oneWe already have sensing wipers in the Bronco? I sense rain, i turn em on, crazy how that works.
Imagine how those folks who purchased a First Edition at way above MSRP feel now! I recall a few of them going for well over $80,000.Has anyone any info on whats to be different in 26? I've been waiting to get one as soon as rain sensing wipers are added
I'm opposite. I'm not a habitual tweaker and like to set it and forget it so auto climate control is a godsend as with auto rain wipers. I would just leave them on all the time with my BMW and Honda and whenever it starts to rain they just come on at the right speed and I can just continue my merry way down the road with my hands on the wheel.I don't like any of the automatic crap. YEP, THAT WAS CRAZY. Those editions like that are nice if your rich and plan on keeping them for decades. New a guy that bought 3 57 Tbirds when they came out just because he loved the design. He drove them but not much and the only way i found out he had more then one is he would gas up at the gas station i worked at and i noticed one day that the one getting gas had a different license plate so i asked him. He said he kept them on blocks when not in use.Imagine how those folks who purchased a First Edition at way above MSRP feel now! I recall a few of them going for well over $80,000.
I’m more than happy with my two-door V6, same engine as the stroppe, but 1/2 the price.
Yep, I do the same but you forgot the headlights there auto to.I'm opposite. I'm not a habitual tweaker and like to set it and forget it so auto climate control is a godsend as with auto rain wipers. Curious to know which brands you had the "windshield wiper mishaps" because it works fantastic on the Mercedes.I’ve had rain sensing wipers on 3 cars now. All different brands. Only car I've had it on that it was terrible was my Tesla Model 3 but that's because smart guy Elon thought they could do it with the front facing camera. Nothing like driving on a beautiful, sunny day when out of nowhere your wipers totally freak out on you, dry scraping your glass.Curious to know which brands you had the "windshield wiper mishaps" because it works fantastic on the Mercedes.
That was not either a Ford or a Jeep both of wtich i own and on both the feature works perfectly. Hard to screech if the windshield is wet like its supposed to be when they come on.Only car I've had it on that it was terrible was my Tesla Model 3 but that's because smart guy Elon thought they could do it with the front facing camera. Because it is a basic function that soon all motor vehicles will come with as standard just as heaters and AC eventually did.Can we discuss something other than auto wipe?
I watched one clickbait video that seemed to suggest a drop down tailgate and separate tire carrier plus top window that opens from the outside (i.e., w/o dropping the gate), and a hand brake on the 7MT version.
Also, I have trying to find anything on a full float Dana 44 or something that would indicate an increase in towing capacity.
Then there was a rumor that there may be a suspension option for the Badlands with the Ranger Raptor’s 2.5-inch FOX live valve Shocks.
Why would we focus 8 pages on auto wipe, when there are more interesting real capabilities to wonder about and hope for.
I guess the turn signal is too hard to operate also? Your hand is right there on the wheel right next to it for goodness sake. No need to look for it. Had auto wipers on a BMW that worked great and would smear bugs without asking me in a sprinkle. don’t miss it even a little bit.OBX?
No, it can be a problem if you are in an area with lots of obstacles turns with sudden rain then stop then a few seconds minutes and does it again. By the time you get the wipers on and can see you may have already been clobbered. One needs to keep there attention 100% on the road not fiddling with the controls. The rain often comes down so hard in such copious quantities that you see nothing if the wipers are not on. if you leave them on the beat them selves to death maybe before a deluge. I've only ever encounter these conditions on the pacific coast in Oregon or northern ca.
Just a nice safety feature allowing the driver more time to focus on driving.
