The 26 will get a price increase, OBX will get nerfed again so the only powertrain option is the Duratec 2.0 mated to a DPS6, heated seats will be removed, and First Edition will return (China-exclusive)

I love how any discussion that mentions rain-sensing wipers turns into a huge slapfight, on par with AutoStartStop. It's nice if you want it, easy to disable if you don't, and so many people seem to miss that *you can adjust the sensitivity and override it at any time*.

The sensor itself is an off-the-shelf part by Hella. The same sensor used by Ford can be found on BMW, Jeep, Cadillac, Nissan, Bugatti, Tesla, Toyota....

Added rain sensing to my 22, works just as well as the factory system on my Flex. It's a convenience feature. One that comes equipped on virtually every other vehicle at this price point.

Turn signal flash rate and cancelling after a turn are both automated, I don't hear anyone saying "you should be manually holding the lever once per second, not relying on a COMPUTER GIZMO to do it for your lazy butt!"

I’ve had rain sensing wipers on 3 cars now. All different brands. Not 1 of them worked correctly. Most of the time they are too fast and I’ve got to listen to the blade scraping across a dry windshield. I find that feature miserable. Glad it’s not on my bronco. Adjusting the wipers to the speed I like takes 0 effort.

My favorite is when they go off when bugs hit the windshield. My 19 expedition was horrible
I don't like any of the automatic crap. The manual wipers with several interval delay setttings works great. Same with HVAC -- just give me a blower and temperature knob I vastly prefer it over automatic.

Has anyone any info on whats to be different in 26? I've been waiting to get one as soon as rain sensing wipers are added
Imagine how those folks who purchased a First Edition at way above MSRP feel now! I recall a few of them going for well over $80,000.
I’m more than happy with my two-door V6, same engine as the stroppe, but 1/2 the price.

Living n the PNW, not sure I could stand auto wipers. Mine seem to go on automatically with my left hand all the time. And they adjust to the speed of the rainfall. It's amazing.

I will say that when I first started seriously thinking about a Bronco in late 2023, I was planning on a Big Bend and the 2023 model year still had the smaller dash screen. 2024 was the first year with the larger 12" screen standard in the Big Bend. It makes my wife's mini 6" screen look downright silly.

The 2024 models weren't in dealers in Dec 2023, so I decided to order exactly what I wanted, know full well how long so many had waited. Mine took just over 3 months to arrive, and half of that was shipping across the country.by rail.

If you want a specific feature, by all means wait. Saves $$.

I'm opposite. I'm not a habitual tweaker and like to set it and forget it so auto climate control is a godsend as with auto rain wipers. I would just leave them on all the time with my BMW and Honda and whenever it starts to rain they just come on at the right speed and I can just continue my merry way down the road with my hands on the wheel.

YEP, THAT WAS CRAZY. Those editions like that are nice if your rich and plan on keeping them for decades. New a guy that bought 3 57 Tbirds when they came out just because he loved the design. He drove them but not much and the only way i found out he had more then one is he would gas up at the gas station i worked at and i noticed one day that the one getting gas had a different license plate so i asked him. He said he kept them on blocks when not in use.

Can we discuss something other than auto wipe?

I watched one clickbait video that seemed to suggest a drop down tailgate and separate tire carrier plus top window that opens from the outside (i.e., w/o dropping the gate), and a hand brake on the 7MT version.

Also, I have trying to find anything on a full float Dana 44 or something that would indicate an increase in towing capacity.

Then there was a rumor that there may be a suspension option for the Badlands with the Ranger Raptor’s 2.5-inch FOX live valve Shocks.

Why would we focus 8 pages on auto wipe, when there are more interesting real capabilities to wonder about and hope for.

Curious to know which brands you had the "windshield wiper mishaps" because it works fantastic on the Mercedes.

Only car I've had it on that it was terrible was my Tesla Model 3 but that's because smart guy Elon thought they could do it with the front facing camera. Nothing like driving on a beautiful, sunny day when out of nowhere your wipers totally freak out on you, dry scraping your glass.

That was not either a Ford or a Jeep both of wtich i own and on both the feature works perfectly. Hard to screech if the windshield is wet like its supposed to be when they come on.

Because it is a basic function that soon all motor vehicles will come with as standard just as heaters and AC eventually did.
What other items or changes would you like to see in the Bronco? Start a thread to discus what you would like to see added

OBX?
No, it can be a problem if you are in an area with lots of obstacles turns with sudden rain then stop then a few seconds minutes and does it again. By the time you get the wipers on and can see you may have already been clobbered. One needs to keep there attention 100% on the road not fiddling with the controls. The rain often comes down so hard in such copious quantities that you see nothing if the wipers are not on. if you leave them on the beat them selves to death maybe before a deluge. I've only ever encounter these conditions on the pacific coast in Oregon or northern ca.
Just a nice safety feature allowing the driver more time to focus on driving.
I guess the turn signal is too hard to operate also? Your hand is right there on the wheel right next to it for goodness sake. No need to look for it. Had auto wipers on a BMW that worked great and would smear bugs without asking me in a sprinkle. don’t miss it even a little bit.
