I am ready to fill the holes in the Modular bumper with a combo of Fog lights and driving lights.

I think I have it narrowed to two, but always up for suggestions.

Oracle Laser/Fog combo

Diode Dynamics MAX Fog/drving combo.

Anyone with experience with either of these? Not looking for product bashing just some first hand experience. The DDs have a lifetime warranty which is appealing. The Oracles migh be too bright (never thought Id say that about lighting).

The DD Fogs are excellent actual, street legal fog lamps - couldn't recommend them enough.

For the Laser, I dunno that I'd put them in the fog pocket. They would be excellent as a ditch light though to use as a spot light. And if I were gonna do that, I'd do the Baja Designs one.

Good point about placement. I should have remembered that from racing days. High power below line of sight gives never ending seas of black, just behind every whoop de doo.

I'm always thinking about reliability and aftermarket support. DD seems to put a lot of thought into their products. I've talked to them at Overland Expo. Very sharp crew. Same with Baja Designs.

Over the years I’ve tried Baja Designs, DD and Morimoto. In my experience the Baja Design lights have been the best.

However I am biased to their yellow/amber color temperature.

I was going to use DD for ditch lights, but after researching I'm going with Baja Designs.

Go with Diode Dynamics. Made in the USA lights and STREET LEGAL options.

Our triple fog kits are also on sale, use coupon code LABOR at checkout

I'd go with a combo of SS3 Max Combos and SS3 Max SAE Fogs.

Depending on which one of our kits you get you can do up to 2x SS3 and 1x SSC2 or 1x SS3 and 2x SSC2

Check out our kits and read the description, as we take the guess work out of it and give you detailed recomendations

Plus our kit works with your upfitters, so no cutting harnesses or any of that involved

When it comes down to it we always tell customers Baja Designs are the best in terms of quality. However DD will give you more light output options. The Baja Designs SAE lights are similar to their sports, but Diode Dynamics offers an SAE fog in their Sport, Pro and Max lineup. So even more light for your money.

I use Diode Dynamics because I prefer them aesthetically, but I have always heard Baja Designs are bulletproof. I believe DD has extended their warranty to lifetime which narrows that gap a little bit.
Can't really go wrong with either.
I have Yellow Sport SSC2 Fog, White Pro SSC2 Fog, and White Pro SS3 Drive. The SSC2s are "1.0" versions, the 2.0 comes with improvements and a Max power level.
Clear covers on all.

E: I've seen a lot of failures just on this forum with Oracle products. Their reps are usually quick to respond to threads but the fact that they seem to occur with such regularity, along with a limited warranty period, isn't heartening.

Probably my next add-on, but these kits are soooooooo $pendy. Will have to wait for a bit as I invested a ton in other things. Maybe Black Friday sales will have decent discounts? :D

buy now from us at 4x4TruckLEDs.com- our Labor Day sales are pretty good!

We recently discounted our fog kits getting rid of the need for coupon codes but for Labor Day we are taking another 10% off the built in discount.
