With the nozzle I posted it's a piece of cake--even the plastic bottles are easy with the nozzle.
I'll grab it for the new drain and fill. I'm going to do a replacement diff cover at the same time to get the drain plug. Dumb that Ford didn't give a drain plug on the rear diff.

That's also going to be getting the PPE pan so I can do incremental fluid changes. So dumb.

I've been driving MTs for the last 15 years and it's just so easy to change the trans fluid. I forgot how insane it is to change an AT's fluid.

Just have to find a good fill tube/dipstick up to the engine bay.
I'm so close to just buying the Ranger version & figuring out how to make it work.

Agreed; I look into it quite a while ago and I could not see a way to make it work.

Given the ultra limited space near the fill port on the transmission, you will need one of the "candy cane" style tubes and a pressure tank to refill it as shown here:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ers-fluids-oil-changes-etc.86135/post-2134640
I did mine with the $11 pump from Harbor Freight.
https://www.harborfreight.com/gear-oil-and-fluid-pump-63588.html

but it would be awesome if Mike's Build Shop got their Bronco version of the transmission fill/dipstick to market.

I was changing the engine oil today ( 29846 miles - 4500 intervals ) and decided to change all fluids as its a very pleasant day out. I previously changed front-rear differentials and transfer at 2k, 10k and transmission at 20k. all were fairly clean.

Seems like the fist diff / tans case change interval is critical after that last for long time especially if 100% synthetic.

Coming up on 30k miles and after reading this thread booked an appointment to have the front axle, rear axle and transfer case fluids changed (in addition to normal 30k mile oil change and air filter). Did not opt to do the automatic transmission at this point.

Anyone have their automatic transmission fluid changed at a dealer? If so, what did they charge?

IIRC others had luck getting FP to replace these rust buckets:

Ford Bronco Change Driveline Fluids Early! B6

Anyone able to share details on getting theirs replaced? Given my luck, I'd get a FP replacement from the same bad batch...

I installed mine on 8-4-24 and am now debating on corrective action(s). I've seen others that had them custom painted to match body color, but mine's Oxford White... I kept the OE and could put it back on while this one gets redone.

Appreciate any insight.
