I know this has been asked before but for the love of God, I cannot decide.
I have been leaning towards the 285/70r17 but then I always go back to the 35's (315/11.5r17 to be specific). I am planning to get the 2 inch lift/level kit and I am aware that I have to remove the crash bars. this bronco is my daily so that is the reason I have been leaning more towards the 285/70r17 but then again.... bigger is better.

So far i have installed running boards, front/rear bumpers, and did a muffler delete.

I am a little worried because it is a 3.73 so the 35's may do some damage and I do plan on getting the ford performance tune after I swap the wheels fwiw.

I am mainly looking for some photos of a 2-door with either 35's or 33 for comparison. The rims that Ive ordered has a 0mm offset.

TIA

for daily driver 33's over 35's, a 2 door with the 2.7 on a 3.73 can push 35's and you will notice the additional strain if you don't do the performance tune, another thing to consider is the wear on the front CV axels since you don't have a SAS, and another thing will be the speed calibration for going to 35's from 33's.

For a daily big tires hurt performance…but if looks are your thing bigger is better…a 1” level and 3/4-1” body lift is more than ya need for 35”s…you do you…

I upgraded mine to 285/70-17 Badlands takeoffs from the original 32” tires. I have the 4:27 gears so they are not the same gears as yours. Mine is daily driven.
The tires fit well and minimal difference in drivability. I did a 2” lift a few months later and love the combo.

If you're considering 35's, you'll never be happy with 33".

The SAS take offs are on the smaller side and seem to be easy to find used.

33’s are perfect on a 2-door. My Bronco is badass.

When these KO2’s wear out I am going to get SL-rated 285/70r17’s. Currently thinking about either Ridge Grapplers or Toyo RT Trails, both are available in SL.

Make sure your gears can handle the bigger tires. Larger tires can strain your transmission.

35s more fun but wil feel it, 33s will feel better and get better gas for daily.. or split them and get 285/75s, which are about 33.9x11.25. I have 285/75/R17 with a 2 inch lift from Bilstein 5100s with the 3.73 gears. I don't have the performance tune either but it runs great.

I highly recommend the 33's with the 3.73 gearing. I have the 4.27 gearing, and have been riding on 285/70R17 tires, on Badlands take-offs 17x8 wheels for 3 years now. It's a nice sweet spot. No lift required. I personally think that 35's are too much of a jump for the 3.73 axles, although I know "everyone does it!" When I do upgrade more, I plan on 34's, Nitto has a C rated 285/75R17 I'm looking at. I'm aware that we are limited by the weaker non-Sasquatch drivetrain.
