Oh man....not feeling great about timing for the MICs. Are they still going through QC? I made a comment on the last set of photos that only 1 out of 4 four doors had MIC tops, and my antenna was up. Now there isnt a MIC top in sight!

Photos from MAP...
December -75/25% hard/soft top on the 4 door. Hard tops on 2 door
January -50/50% hard/soft top on the 4 door. Hard tops on 2 door
Mid January - 25/75% hard/soft top on the 4 door. Some testing on fastback soft top on 2 door
Now - 0/100% hard/soft top on the 4 door. 2 drs have NO tops
This is just like the clothing industry. The swimsuits are already on display and the heavy winter coats are on the clearance rack. This is just Ford planning ahead for topless weather ;)

Every Bronco gets a widget

Before you ask, its a really boring widget and nothing worth bragging about lol.
As we "fan" the flames of speculation.

Some of the pics Stig got last few days.

Nothing real new.. says 15 broncos a day through February. Then April change to 75 percent Broncos and 25 percent Rangers..

Plan is to build 500 per 10 hour shift with two shifts running to equal 1000 day!

The 1000 per day sounds great...until they run out of something....might see mine in a year, then. 60th percentile...

Easy to do when you take out a step of putting a top on the 2drs. They'll sit out under a giant awning at the plant like the one down here at VW Chattanooga until the tops are produced.

These are leaked photos of pre-production vehicles parked in a staging area during a time when they're only making 15 a day. Don't let confirmation bias get the best of us here.
As the term "confirmation bias" has quickly gained mainstream usage, and therefore inaccurate over-usage, i'll point out it's being used incorrectly here.

limited roof inventory is in no way a theory or belief, and certainly not one that only I have. When something has been stated as fact by the manufacturer to the world via press release and widely documented. Further evidenced through Ford's statements regarding roof availability for MY21 and MY22 Broncos.

It's a lovely term when used correctly, and it uses a long word followed by something that sounds exotic, so you always win an argument using it! It's not nearly as popular as incorrectly using the word "like" in modern conversation or, sadly, in text now, but it's correct usage is minimal as is the case here.

I won't believe a date until May. Until March 19th passes and we know how many broncos were actually converted its hard to speculate on where we are. I would love to get my Bronco in the fall but want to be realistic. At this point I think they will produce somewhere in the ballpark of 80k to 100K broncos but we have no way of knowing when they will run out of parts for a specific trim level, ie. everyone with a big bend or black diamond could get there bronco in 21 regardless of reservation time stamp due to lack of tires, suspension parts, etc for wildtraks.

One request I would have of Ford is STOP using up all the Wildtrak and FE parts on these demo builds lol

which models have black badging?
two options to make any model have black badging: $5 can of plastidip. Buy the badges from the parts department with your ford pass points.

I did both with my current tacoma. Looks great either way.

According to the published dimensions, the 2021 F-150 is both shorter and narrower(including mirrors) than the F-150 of a decade ago, not to mention ~700lbs lighter.
Paul, you've misread my statement. 2020 Ranger is the same size as 2010 F150.

Ford sold over 100,000 Rangers last year and they have proven to be fleet darlings with their "perfect size, just like the F150 used to be a decade ago" ability.
2010 F150 (L, W, H)
  • 213", 79", 72"
2020 Ranger (L, W, H)
  • 211", 78", 71"

The part that I find ridiculous is that the 2010 F150 was a full sized truck and the 2020 Ranger is somehow a mid sized truck? No, the Ranger is a full sized truck and the 2020 F150 has become gargantuan.

Edit: I made the original statement flippantly based on feeling of size. The exact sizes were researched for this post and the results are eerily similar dimensions.

What's the deal with the rear bumpers? Three of the back-end photos show textured areas on the bumper tops—on the orange, gray & black vehicles. I'm poking around on the B&P and I can't make any sense of it from an option/trim level standpoint.

I've done the plastidip, doesn't look as good as the real thing. Will go aftermarket for my badlands.

Sweet thanks! And 1,000 a day? Thats alot! So 180,000 between June and Nov if my math isnt wrong

edit - rough estimate, i included weekends.
You are adding in the Rangers as well. If they keep 750 per day of Broncos figuring 6 months at 30 days per month and weekends they should produce 135,000 Broncos and 45,000 Rangers. So yeah your math is correct.

This is hopefully thinking in my mind because I would think they will need more then 45,000 Rangers from this plant in that time frame but they may be stockpiling them now.

What is this model?

Tail lights lead me to think BL or higher but the spare tire looks out of place. It's not an OBX, WT, or FE.

I almost think it's an OBX without red flares.

The seat and dash colors on the Wildtrak are starting to grow on me. Thank God because that's what I'm ordering. Still don't like the digicam though.
