Seriously, WTF do we not have a "shortage" of? Its like some AH sitting behind a desk puts out a press release daily with a new product shortage. And let me guess its "COVID Related"

Our grand parents and great grandparents knew a thing or two.
A lot of ways, knowledge, and mentality is lost.
Saw a meme back at the beginning of all this last year that said "You're getting ready to find out why Granny washed and reused her tin foil."
Sadly this might actually be true.
But society isn't tough enough or mentally prepared for that scenario. And way too many people on the planet now vs. 1930. Back then most people survived by their own means and having tight-knit families/communities.
It could get ugly fast.
Probably won't.
Not this time, probably not next time....but at some point that fuse is gonna light and the cow will be out of the barn by then. (more Granny speak).

Ya'll might wanna brush up on some overlanding info and identifying what you can/can't eat in nature. And a ball bat with barbed wire in case of zombies. Your chances are extremely low, but never zero.

We are now in stage 4 of the testing.
Stage 5 will be electricity blackouts.
Stage 6 has something to do with flying snakes.
Stage 7 is walking fish with acidic saliva.
I've got $100 on Stage 8 being gamma rays.

Georgias Gov. just declared a SOE and froze all gas taxes. Local shell station is at 3.45 for 87

I just paid $2.56 for regular at Sam's on Clairmont. I was almost on "E". Officials asking folks not to hoard, as the pipeline should be back up & running by this weekend after the cyber/ransomware attack.

I do actually enjoy politics in real life, but on this forum time and time again it just devolves, and then it’s time to delete comments or nuke entire threads which i prefer not doing. Also if we did allow politics I’d just delete people’s comments that didn’t agree with me and that just wouldn’t be fair now would it!

Also, consider downloading the Gas Buddy app... that helped to let me know which stations in the area were out of gas, or charging a ridiculous amount per gallon. Looks like I'll be getting my scooter back on the road for the summer!

Glad the county provides me a truck and fuel. Only downside is if I'm out and about and there's an emergency, I have to go.
