Wife Wants a Bronco Sport

She saw an Area 51 colored one last night. We will be test driving one tomorrow. I think she is going to be vastly disappointed compared to her Audi A7 but if not, we will buy it.

There are a few Big Bend models around and in Area 51 paint. We shall see.

News to me considering they are both Broncos. Not stirring the pot, I just don't get one is a Bronco and one is not when it clearly says Bronco on the Sport.

If so, the mod can surely delete the thread.

Unibody toy car. Not a real bronco. Sorry don't care for them at all.

I too would not buy one for me. It would be the full size Bronco not the Bronco Sport, but the wife does not give a rats ass about that. LOL.

I own a 2021 Audi Q7 and have spent a few days in a Bronco Sport as a loaner.

If you can get your wife to make that swap, I want to hear how..

The Bronco Sport is great for the cost.. about $30,000 fully loaded. That’s a FAR cry for the price of an Audi Q7. Huge quality difference there. Radically different vehicles.

Maybe I’m over thinking it. If all women had impeccable taste, I wouldn’t be married right now.

Bronco sport is a unibody car based cheap vehicle. Ford used the bronco name to drive sales in it, but shouldn't have, just creates confusion.

The full size bronco is truck based and is a wrangler style vehicle and is far more vehicle than the sport. They are only similar in name as they are like comparing oranges to potatoes in their capabilities, purposes, and type of vehicle that they are.

Someone with an a7 might enjoy a full size and the ability to remove the top, doors, etc but they are not going to be happy in a sport.

She won't like after an Audi. Great for budget vehicle, but very cheap in style, finishes, amenities, etc.

In today's world that is a cheap vehicle. A loaded Bronco is over $60k.

When I originally was pricing out Badlands trims, they were about $32K fully loaded. That was at launch though and it appears they are going for quite a bit more today. I see they start at $32K now for the Badlands and no one has one near me without an ADM fee.

Thought long and hard about buying a Badlands Sport but went with a Ranger Tremor instead.

The bronco sport is going to be a big downgrade from the Audi the bronco sport is nice but not as nice as the audi she has

It may be time to get a new wife after reading what she has and what she wants to replace it with. Doesn't make sense. This coming from a female who grew with only brothers and a neighborhood full of boys. I may not be the right person to comment on this.

Ignore the belligerent among us. It's true this is not a bronco sport forum, but the Bronco Sport is a great cheap crossover. Unfortunately, a great cheap crossover and a full size luxury suv have little in common, so it is unlikely your wife will be willing to make that switch. That said, if she doesn't care about fit, finish, and tech, the sport is plenty stylish and vastly cheaper so who knows, maybe she'll love it.
