Nice Brian!
I got frustrated, and bailed on my reservation, because I didn't think we'd ever see them get built.
Kinda wishing I'd hung with it now. Will have to be scouring around I suppose, or wait 18 months or so.
Good points. I'm a Group B person.
I'm sorta tired of gimmicks and games (tweet semantics, "Easter Eggs", this or that trim in the wild, photoshop paint swatches, surveys, etc).
Add lack of info to the fact that I am wondering if it'll be 15 months before the truck ever shows up, and it just...
Personally, I wish they'd playing games and being proud of themselves and actually deliver the damn thing. Not feeling too confident about this as of now.
@MadMan4BamaNATL BTW - not sure if you saw it, but I was thinking of a Georgia Traverse trip. If folks can't afford 3-4 days to do it, then maybe 3 or 4 day trips to cover most of it over the Fall/Winter.
@MadMan4BamaNATL true on all accounts. For folks just breaking in, group rides would be a great way to get out in the wild a little bit, and see how they like it. I love it.
Generally speaking, CB radios are required equipment for group rides to allow everyone to communicate.
Also, a Garmin InReach device is a really good idea to have too, since cell service can be non-existent in many places in the wilderness.
There are so many places in the National Forest to...
@1stGenBronco sorry, not yet. been a busy week, and sort of forgot about it. I'll dig through my emails and find the guy's name and send him something.
Man, that's big news. If the options are invoice with x-plan no matter where you go, then you're looking at $1300 from a cost standpoint, plus the other intangibles that everyone has mentioned.
I do wonder tho if these locals will try to do all their adds like nitro, under body coat, tinted...
@GiddyUp options at invoice could be big, especially with the price of these packages. Over MSRP, you're probably looking at about 3k for the base deal, and another 1k on 10k of upgrades. I'm thinking these deals are worth 4k at least.
If I don't but a Bronco, I would buy a Colorado ZR2, and maybe get the Bison package. I saw a Bison locally last week at invoice, and I almost did it, but I've been waiting for B&P to come out on the Bronco.
The Bison has everything off road that the Bronco does, except sway bar disconnect...
@Jb7 me too brother. the only time i had a new car was when I owned my company, and got a company car. still sort of debating internally whether a new Bronco is the best idea, but we'll see how it prices out.
