What's annoying about the reservations is that the dealership doesn't have to sell you the car for MSRP. They can put a market adjustment on it and sell it to the highest bidder which is BS IMO. Unlike Tesla you are guaranteed to the vehicle at MSRP.

Its literally takes 2 secs to unplug or replug back in. 99% of the time I'm not towing and it affects NOTHING on the Vehicle but the Tow Hitch connection. When I need to tow I plug it back in, when I'm done towing I unplug it. Its that simple. None of the features you mention above are needed...

Just the Trailer Brake lights. Plug it back in when you need to tow. That's what I do on my Raptor.

Hopefully, it's like the Raptor and you just undo a plug near the gas pedal and it disables it.
