It turns out the Mabett skid is not Moab rated. I think I'll pull it off and weld the cracks then plate that lip with a peice of steel flat bar bolted on.

Ouch. So far so good on mine with some hits. At least it’s cheap and the hit still protects the transmission pan. I think a few companies now make a better pan

Whatever I hit that did that would have likely hung up my t-case skid so it did what I wanted it to. I think I can build on it and keep using it.

Who's planning Bronco Safari '24 already?

HELL YEAH!!!!! What an amazing week! I'll definitely be there again next year and I'm also thinking about Bronco Super Celebration (WEST) in Buena Vista, CO this September.

It was really great to meet everybody - the Bronco community has lots of wonderful people in it. I'm new to the offroad world and really appreciate the advice and tips from everybody throughout the week. I hope to keep in touch with folks and meet up again in the future for some offroad events and I'd really like to do some overlanding stuff also. If any of you have trips planned in the West and would like another Bronco in your squad, hit me up!

Attending Bronco Safari helped me learn what my vehicle was capable of, and I'm sure it's capable of much more. Eventually I'll learn it's max potential. These past few days helped me become way more comfortable on the trails - seven days of wheelin' will do that.

And special thanks to @Felix808 for leading the awesome Long Canyon/Dead Horse Point/Shafer Trail run on Monday!
