The one I have is Trail FX, it is also sold under Scorpion, Black Horse, and a few other names. It should have a piece in the middle but I have cut it out to mount my winch.

Quality is not bad, but is not top notch either. There is a reason they are not 1K+. I will say though the shackle mounts are beefy, with reinforcements for the rear of the mounting pad. I had to modify them a bit as well to fit with the High Mount Mishsimoto intercooler. Nothing major though.

Here is the piece I cut out. It is not as thick as it looks, got some burrs making it look thicker.

Shackle mounts are beefy.

Here is a pic right otta the box to see how the winch fit.
