Is it possible to revert from a 4inch lift and 35’s back to stock?

If so what does that usually look like via a customs shop?

Reason being is twofold, my elderly mother can’t get into the Bronco with the lift that high, and the gas mileage is just awful even with the performance tune.

Thoughts ?

Easy peasy. Depending how it was done you may need to buy a few things.

A shop should charge about the same as putting on a lift.

Does she ride all the time? Maybe get some power fold steps?

How bad was the gas mileage?

She has Alzheimer’s, and uses a walker to walk so it’s a struggle!

Gas mileage after about 2000 miles since the lift, wheels, running board I added, and the ford pro cal tune I’m running about 14.7-14.9 mpg using 93 octane fuel. It’s an expensive venture!

4" lift is kind of high, meaning did it require front A arms and stuff? That's going to be more work than just removing some pucks. Especially if you don't have the old parts.

Regarding mpg, at any rate according to the dash display, my lightweight 2-door with manual trans 2.3L and 35"s is showing upwards of 23 mpg. How bad is your mpg, what are the driving conditions?

I’m not sure, I didn’t get any of the old parts afterwards except the wheels. I wonder if trading in would be cheaper at this point, I’m at a nice positive equity with my $ down.

Driving is a combo of rural backroads and some highway, always in Eco. Mine is the 2.3L as well, but the automatic variant.

Find someone who has the stock set and have them pay the labor to trade parts. As long as labor isn’t too expensive. It could be good deal for the two of you. Yes. I put the power steps on mine. Mother in law access approved.

Post some suspension pics and we can tell you what you have pretty easily.

Regarding the gas mileage, try running in normal and sport modes and compare. Eco mode is a dog and is anything but eco for me.
