NEW Hammer Built High Clearance Hidden Winch

What is the maximum width of the winch (between side plates) with this mount? some of us might want other options the the Mile Marker.

We’ll measure. I don’t have the number in my notes I guess. The mile marker winch is REALLY tight

Are you saying that the 9.0 RC fits on this new hammerbuilt winch mount? Has anybody tried this?

It looks like it’s the only other possible option but the price is so much higher we’re not sure the benefits are there.

That width dimension looks exactly the same... The price certainly does not.

For what it's worth, and if it helps anyone. There are people who have cut down and M8 to the RC 9.0 specs. Only real difficult part I believe seems to be cutting off the flange on the drum and rewelding it in place.

This is what I was originally going to do on mine when I decided to modify it to use a full width winch. Just to Future proof it a little bit.

For real! It is pretty crazy that the RC 9.0 as far as I know is basically identical to an M8000 with the exception of the width. I believe they use the same control pack and everything.

Agreed it's a great deal...I may order one once I do away with my innercooler altogether for the 5.2 V8 swap. count me in for one in a few month's.

Got the intercooler and mount! will be getting that on this weekend but the winch will not be here until middle of next week.

I could easily be wrong but I am going to guess it will fit with no changes.... Same frame... the skid mounts are interchangeable, the bumper is essentially the modular with different end caps... structurally the same in that area. I think the intercoolers are going to fit. Maybe the charge pipes are a different diameter? If the Mishimoto high mount intercooler fits both than this should fit both.
