Daily driving causes a different kind of wear than off-roading.
1. Paint Protection
• PPF (Paint Protection Film) on the hood, grille, and fenders to stop rock chips.
• Ceramic coating to protect from bugs, road grime, and UV.
2. Windshield Protection
• Keep distance from trucks to avoid rock chips.
• Some owners run windshield protection film like ExoShield
3. Tire Pressure
• Maintain proper PSI for even wear and better fuel economy.
4. Undercarriage Rinse
• Road salt, oil, and debris collect underneath — regular rinsing helps prevent corrosion.
Off-roading is where real armor matters.
1. Skid Plates
• Protect engine, transmission, and transfer case from rocks.
2. Rock Sliders
• Protect the body when sliding across rocks or obstacles.
3. Tire Pressure (Airing Down)
• Lower PSI increases traction and reduces tire punctures.
4. Fender & Body Protection
• Mud flaps or reinforced fenders to protect paint from debris.
5. Recovery Gear
• Recovery rope
• Traction boards
• Air compressor
Highway = protect the paint and glass.
Trail = protect the mechanical parts underneath.
Both matter if you want your Bronco looking good and surviving tough trails.
