Just an update on the work APG completed back in Nov.

Also added a IAG Air/Oil Separator that has somehow made the car faster!

If you haven't seen their in house fabricated Air/Oil catch can, then I would recommend looking into one as it is ZERO Maintenance!

It also keeps the oil from condensing by taping into the coolant lines so there oil is the same temp as it was in the engine.

All of that oil gets returned back, and this part is completely self sufficient!

Amazing product and I will take some pics once I get around to it tomorrow.

That looks sick!
What do they do differently to allow tuning those steeper cv angles?

On a side thought, does someone make a cv with a different housing, cage, race to allow for steep angles without binding and excessive wear?

That thing is beautiful! It's a shame APG stopped selling their suspension hardware online, would've loved to build a Midrunner and work my way up to something this beefy.

Not a fan of the location you put the shock reservoirs in. Too exposed to trail hazards for my taste.

Do you have a build thread about the lift/suspension? What fenders are you running?

Sweet looking setup. Love the APG fenders...
Everything they build or sell is TOP KNOTCH.!!!

@CitrusBronco On both front and rear, they cut the stock shock towers and welded up new ones that are higher clearance.
Running the D60 and D44 Ultimate, the 32 spline in front adds strength, and their RCV custom axles were rebuilt to accommodate the +7'' width of the front.
RCV and Dana/Spicer have CV axles that can withstand the abuse with high angles.
RCV also sells and builds custom half shafts.

@Steve_In_29
I was trying to see how far I could push APG to step outside of their organized build specs.
Since I have a JKS / Crashbar delete, it's a shame that I have to hide that beautiful King Blue. I also wanted something just a little bit different. I will let you know if/when the reservoirs come of, but I have it under good recommendation that both the front and rear are safer than you might think.

@IwannaGOfast

You can blame Bronco6G and myself for not understanding how to get the best quality here. Rather than calling it out like anyone can, do you happen to know how to get better image quality here? I was using an iPhone 17, but I also have a Sony A7S3 DSLR.

You should be able to change the image quality in your camera settings. Yours appears to be in space-saving mode.

Not a full one yet as I am still trying to add a few finishing touches.
It's basically an APG ProRunner build without the 3.0 Kings, rear winch, KMC wheels, rear Dana 60 Air Locker (pain in the ass with the Wildtrak included switches), full paint, lights and all the extra stuff that I already have.

Fenders are the APG wide body kit with 1'' carbon fiber lip. Also has front carbon fiber wheel wells but not rear (not sure why).
Lift is about equal to a 7'' lift and coils are dialed all the way down leaving much more lift if desired.
Dana 44 32 spline 3.5'' extended half shafts from RCV custom. 5.38
Dana 60 in rear with 1320 drive axle, spacers, rewelded linkage posts, front longer control arms top and bottom, as well as rear too.
Already had HOSS 3.0 rack with Bronc Buster upgrades.
Dual shear steering rods, sway bar delete, custom King 2.5 coils and also independent custom King 2.5'' bypass shocks.
Can't forget the bump stops!

Dual shear steering rods,

I would say the Carli kit??? It is the only one I know of. Just making sure I haven't missed something. 😁

I wish I could help really. I was honestly just surprised because most photos posted on here I am able to zoom in and look at all sorts of details. You can’t even make out the compression sticker on the picture of the bypass shocks.

Like it was stated earlier it probably has to do with a setting on your camera app. I’m new to iphone myself so I have just been using the factory settings.

It was all in good fun. Nice job on the build, have fun out there.
