We can install it at the Bronco Corral! We did a couple of installs last year. If you wanted to stop by the shop for installation we are always happy to give a tour of the shop.

I will have to contact y'all before the cruise and see what we can work out. Would be fun to install in the corral!

Had to run some errands this afternoon so put a few miles on it. Three observations

- It sounds better on the road than it does in the driveway.

- The change in back pressure is notable. Im sure its not crazy horsepower gains or anything, but I would say is akin to changing from Normal to Sport mode. Enough the butt dyno can tell it breaths a bit easier

- Lastly, speaking of breathing easier. Get the turbo up high - like 19-20psi, the muffler starts … I don’t know how to describe it. It’s like a cross between a rattle from a loose piece of sheet metal and listening to the suction of a vacuum cleaner hose.

Now, I realize that description sounds awful; it isn't that bad. At first I thought I was hearing air intake, or had an exhaust leak. And you have to really really push the turbo to get there - not sure you could without a tune to go past the stock 18psi boost limit. But its definitely there and definitely coming from the rear.

I’ll see if I can get audio - its hard to do and not break too many laws doing it
This is a 7MT bronco.

I didn't get any audio - mostly because while cruising all you can hear now is wind and tire noise... can barely hear the engine at all (unless you hit the afterburner)

I read through the posts and I may have missed it, what exhaust did you put on?

I do appreciate the DB numbers on the stock and whatever MRT exhaust you have.

Alright, I've broken this Bronco ELITE series G.O.A.T MRT Exhaust (mid-ship design) in and I'm telling you guys, there is certainly a noticeable decrease in backpressure and a certain increase in HP. I don't know by how much, but I'm absolutely loving everything about it. It's not boy racer at all. It's warm. When you get on the throttle hard it comes alive and you can really feel a difference. ZERO drone in the cabin. I've done the butt dyno/placebo perceived gains thing before - this is real.

Highly recommend! LMK if I can show you guys anything about it.

I never really could accomplish it before, but now with this muffler its easy to race the engine up to flip the wastegate at high turbo pressure. Definitely less backpressure

Thanks for the reviews! We always love to hear real world experience with our products. If anyone has been on the fence about exhaust the Elite Series is made for you!

Alright. I’m willing to give this is go. I’ll be pulling my Steeda exhaust for this and will give honest feedback. I also ran the MagnaFlow Overland Catback for 4 years on my 2021.

I really hope I have a better experience with this.

Will I be the first on here running it with a manual transmission?

Is there a forum discount? That price tag is a bit much to be honest.

Did you end up getting the Elite? I currently have the Steeda exhaust, but I'm considering replacing with the Elite. I'm interested in hearing feedback from someone else who's made that switch.

General question for anyone, especially @MRTperformance, what kind of sound difference is there between the turndown tip and the regular tip? Is one louder than the other (either inside or outside the vehicle)?

Volume doesn't really change but the direction of the sound changes the experience. The Turn Down in my experience has been a little "quieter" but I would chalk that up the to exhaust being pointed at the ground rather than standing directly behind your Bronco with a Tipped version where the exhaust is pointed straight at you.

The difference is not significant, I am sure if you went and laid down under the turn down it would be just as loud as the tipped version but where the exhaust is pointed can change how and where your hearing the exhaust note. Talking with Bronco customers over the years the tip vs turn down debate usually boils down to either wanting the tip presentation or wanting maximum clearance for off road adventures. Exhaust volume is usually not a consideration in the conversation unless the debate is between our Elite series vs our King Of The Hill line up.

Getting ready to install the MRT Elite on my 2.7 Bronco. I currently have a Roush high clearance muffler which I had to remove the stock hanger on the bumper frame.

Could someone with a 2.7 take a picture of that hanger bracket. Just want to confirm that the down angle “points” to the passenger side, and the 2 bolts are on the drivers side.

Thanks in advance!

That is correct, I have the MBRP but it uses the stock bracket.
