The TrailRax lockable and Modular Starlink Mini Cradle Mount offers versatility, durability, and USA-made quality for overlanding, commercial fleets, emergency response, and daily travel.

Made from lightweight yet rugged 5052 aluminum, this mount is assembled in-house and ships ready to install. Its lockable design keeps your Starlink Mini secure, while the integrated quick-release allows easy removal, deployment, and repositioning for optimal reception at camp or job sites.

The mount integrates seamlessly with TrailRax Modular Roof Racks, fitting cleanly between crossmembers for a low-profile setup, as well as on top of roof tops tents with M8 track systems, or on our Mounting Decks.

For a more discreet option, you can configure it for Ghost Mounting, which places the Starlink Mini inside select plastic cases like Pelican or Roam Adventure Co. boxes. Starlink Mini has been tested to function through specific plastic housings, providing protection while maintaining connectivity.
Note: Proper ventilation is required to prevent overheating, especially with Ghost Mount configurations.

Our design is much more use friendly compared to competitors who have you screwing down your Starlink in their mount, even requiring tools for removal.

Pretty cool.

Not familiar with ghost mounting so I guess I need to do more research. Am very interested in the Pelican box idea (yes, heat mitigation was my first concern, too).

Anyway, somewhat like @JediMcMuffin, I just bought a roof mount for my new Starlink Mini. I thought I'd return it to get this one. But I see this TrailRax offering won't ship until early May. So I guess I'll go with what I have and revisit in May.

What about getting power to it?
The starlink can be mounted up there without any power, we tested it through winter and had no issues. When out on trips you can power it up however you choose, whether it is from your Bronco's outlets, Milwaukee batteries, and/or power bank battery set up.

The Ghost Mounting option can be used in two ways:
  1. Between roof rack rails:
Mounts between the rails and sits below the rack’s highest point, keeping it hidden from plain sight.
  2. Inside a case (Pelican or ROAM):
Mounts to the inside of the lid using built-in mounting points, keeping your Starlink Mini fully concealed.
Note: Ventilation is required to prevent overheating—drilling a few holes in the case will allow proper airflow.

The Starlink Mini Mount is a pre-order product! Our parts are not arriving from the manufacturer until the first week of May.

Yes, it can stay mounted while driving. As long as it’s connected to a power source (battery bank, your Broncos outlets, solar, etc.), it can run on remote trails or long drives—keeping you connected with your group or your passengers entertained along the way.

Yes definitely! We have been running the Starlink Mount on our Super Duty for the past 2 months with zero issues - it has gone to California and back twice!

We did not try the silicone case in testing, but it should work as long as it is a thin silicone case! As long as the mount latches lock down fully, your Starlink will stay secure.
