Everything at Ford is part of their class system and their class warfare tactics are serious.

Two-door Broncos were deemed Boomers for actually looking like the original Bronco. Ford is now run by the had-it-too-easy class and they all have issues with their parents, so they have to hate on the two-doors that remind them how good things used to be before they were born.

Then, Braptors are the nepo babies born on third base acting like they hit a triple and they got big mad when a two-door V6 Badlands with a tune didn't sandbag the stoplight race and let them win as big as they have been used to doing their whole lives. So, they hate the two-doors too.

Better to buy used one that has not been stripped of content. 2.3 with FP tune is a great engine with probably more bottom end torque anyway.

The two door with the 2.7 is available in the Stroppe model only-- been that way since 2025. The Auto 10 speed is the same transmission no matter which engine you choose.

You don't need a 2.7 in the silly little clown car. You can just pedal it around.
no truer words could be spoken if you own a "pavement princess" - but for some of us getting used to the 2.3 turbo lag off road sucks. Manual mode and 4 lo eliminates it but when you need tire spin why would you want to wait for it to spin up-- there is no lag in the 2.7

nope, 2 door Stropp with a 2.7 was only for 2025 MY, now in 2026 it is only available as a 4 door, no 2.7 2 doors in the 2026 Bronco line up

Having both 2.3 and 2.7 I can attest to the fact 2.3 has excellent low end torque. In fact, my HPP Mustang would smoke 465HP GTs off the line.

A 2.3 with FP tune is even better than 2.3 HPP motor. I do love the 2.7 equally.

IMO both suck off road relative to a 46 HP 250 lb off road dirt bike with far superior off road capabilities by any measure.

A 5000lb vehicle off road is a dog anyway you look at it absent 650+ hp and ft lb, as well as 14" of suspension travel on $150K coilovers along with full roll cage so it doesnt fold in half.

I would suggest to OP that perhaps the 2.3 with FP tune on base model bronco with its light weight wheel tires is and excellent choice.

Then why buy a 2 door in the 1st place? They look like hell and are too small to fit anything inside of.
