I would not buy a new 4 door if it had a sticker price of $20k for a loaded version. Just all out ugly, a bigger flex. Looks like a box turned into a small limo. I really do not see or get the attraction to it other than it’s a huge box and people like their huge boxes. The 2 door; of which I owned three now, is perfect in all ways for me and my wife. We even get backseat riders on occasion, no issue at all unless someone is too lazy to spend 2 seconds getting in. This hasn’t happened. We grocery shop, collect packages and save dogs with the 2 door. When seats are down, tons of room. Plenty. Driving it is also much more fun, is more nimble, much better turn radius and with the 2.7 gobs of power. More is not needed for any task.

All I see are 4 doors and I like that. When people see mine they usually assume it’s a classic, not new. I also traded up for the “clown car” which is the best of the broncos I’ve owned in regards to ride and noise, or lack of. I’ve driven jeeps for 30 years and will never again buy a jeep.

I just fail to see the attraction in the 4 door but I’m 56 and growing up a 4 door Bronco didn’t exist. So I am a tried and true 2 door guy and the Stroppe is actually amazing though only went for it due to the deeeeeep discounts and future resale value which is much better than any badlands. Same with the heritage Limited in that regard.

The 2.7 feels better than the 2.3 as well. Have driven both extensively and prefer the 2.7. Same with jeep. I much prefer the 6 over the 4. It’s no contest for me. Ford sells way more 4 doors because today’s crowd, again, loves oversized huge boxes. Some feel “bigger is better” and for some, it is. It’s still an ugly beast with 4 doors.

so see, we all have varying tastes which is how it always has been and always will be.

While I respect your mechanical knowledge, you've completely missed the mark on this one. 99% of the public buy vehicles entirely for their looks. People "fall in love" with cars because of how they look. Very few folks buy cars for any other reason. Nobody walks into the showroom and oogles the shiny new fuse box design or transmission. Lol
That's simply not true. Almost nobody is going to buy a vehicle for it's looks if it doesn't fit other needs. Especially something like cargo storage or necessary seating.

Missing the point again...those characteristics might be important to some, but tons of people buy impractical cars and then "make it work."
Let's just say you're right though...people choose cargo or seating as option 1. They're still picking the best looking vehicle in that class that they can afford.
Do you really think people intentionally buy ugly (in their opinion) vehicles on purpose?

i LOVE MY 2-DOOR V-6. A '22; and I'm holding on to it as long as I can. In fact, I bought an extended warranty for it, and I've never done that on a vehicle before now. The 2-door, V-6, with the Ford Perf software is a wonderful thing. The engine and the transmission are nicely dialed in. Plenty of room for me., my wife, and the dog. I think I've had someone sit in a rear seat 3x since 2022. Mostly, it's just me~

Agree with all you’ve posted. Our 2-door is perfect for us. The 2.7 is great and Ford makes missteps just like Harley. Keeping and loving what we’ve got. (Keeps - been there, never again)

In all seriousness, 2 door body on frame convertible SUVs aren’t a big seller in general. Jeep has the same problem. Even the Defender 90 was scaled back, although they correctly got rid of all the lower trims and kept the big motor in it.

for the people thinking the 2dr is ugly, know that I continue to receive comments from people saying the 2dr looks better than the 4dr. I’m not a boomer and not all those comments come from boomers.

the most recent one was from the owner of a Subaru dealership. They actually had a used raptor on the lot too. Ended up buying a new EV to counter the 19.2mpg of the Bronco.

How am I missing the point? I directly addressed your incorrect statement saying "99% of the public buy vehicles entirely for their looks". That's complete horseshit and everyone knows it lol

Do looks play a big part? Sure. But you can find the best looking vehicle in the world, yet to most, if it doesn't fit what they need they will keep looking and compromise. Do some people make it work even though it isn't what they need? Sure. But once again, thinking this is what most do, is just nonsense.

Also, I never said anyone is purposely buying an ugly vehicle.
They're simply buying the best looking one which also fits their necessities.
In the Bronco's case, that is a vehicle that looks similar to a traditional bronco, but has additional doors and room. AKA the moardoor bronco.

Then why buy a 2 door in the 1st place? They look like hell and are too small to fit anything inside of.
You are kidding right? The 2 door "is" a Bronco. Only reason I would ever even consider owning one. The only people who own them probably have rug rats and a wife. 🤣

Yep, so sad that my 2.7 2Dr BadSquatch is now a rare breed, but boy do I love her! Ole Ethel is a spunky girl who likes to get dirty! 😊

Hope the OP can grab one used, but I'll never sell mine.
