True, but I still hope my grandkids have mine 75 years later but I doubt it.

It’s not bad considering it’s a survivor and never restored. Changed the brakes to disk brakes so the original 14 inch wheels and hub caps had to go. The interior needed a refresh but that’s about it.

Same.
My parents brought me home from the hospital in a 1972 Mach 1. Later on it was a 78 Cougar and then a 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Guess my dad refused to be a mini van guy and that's what the 4 door looks like to me :ROFLMAO:
You sure spent a lot of time in the hospital

It’s a heavy beast that’s for sure. My mother hated it because she couldn’t see well backing up due to the ”C” pillar. She once backed into a street light, the dent is still in the rear bumper, the light pole, ended up on the ground. She also hated her 72 Mustang coupe. It had massive “C” pillars as well.

Question for the two door purists...suppose Ford announces a 2027 V8 option only available in the moar door configuration. Would you buy one?
No I would not.

A 2 Dr Braptor (Warthog) is what I've always wanted. Put in a V8 and I'd trade tomorrow. However, that gas tank would be empty constantly, but I'd still do it due to Ford having the audacity to build it for me.

Wouldn't pay $100K neither. Would need to be Maybe $80K.

Say that, but I have no issue with my current 2 Dr Badsquatch 2.7; it's pretty awesome, but I'm not trying to bring other guys to Jesus. If you want the wagon, go right ahead. I'm too busy on the trails and I do ride with several moar door guys and it's all good.

Broncos belong in the woods and desert, no matter the configuration.

No. 2 doors and manuals were my "must haves". V8 is not on that list. It was on the list for the Mustang but in the Bronco I couldn't care less.

For the record, I'm not anti 2-door. I enjoy them both 🤠
No worries. We know who hates the 2dr. Because they keep telling us. Again. And again. Oh look! A thread or comment that mentioned 2dr! Again. And again. And again.

And again.

And again.

And again.

That would be a hard no for me. V8 isnt that important to me, the 2.7 does everything I need it to do. I'm old enough that I have been around Broncos since their inception, and Broncos are two doors. A four door wearing a Bronco emblem is no more a Bronco than that 4 door electric thing wearing a Mustang emblem is a Mustang.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Not at all, NEVER would consider a 4door and not interested in a V8 Bronco . The 2.7 is more than enough in this SUV.

Before my wife and I decided to get our current Bronco, we were discussing options for a "fun" vehicle. My wife and I have been married for nearly 30 years and have been empty nesters for a while now, and we were looking for something that we could drive around on the weekends. We looked at several different vehicles...from roadsters to larger sportscars, even looked at a Polaris Stinger at one point...and a few SUVs. After some time, I had narrowed it down to either a 2-door Jeep Wrangler or a 2-door Ford Bronco. My thought process was that "there's nothing like a road trip with the top down". Also, living in East Tennessee provides ample opportunity to drive down some very scenic backroads and highways.

So, I test drove a 2-door Wrangler...and I was just...whelmed. Neither over nor under...it was just okay. So, I went next door to my local Ford dealership (luckily enough they are next to one another) and I test drove a 4-Door Bronco...and fell in love. I knew right then that I had found our "fun" vehicle. Yes, the Ford dealer had 2-door Broncos on the lot, but I wanted to see if I would like the extra interior room the 4-door version afforded. I was coming from a '21 4-door Ford Ranger and I felt that the 'moardoor' was comparable in size to what I was already accustomed to driving. And I was right.

Also, we are very close with our two adult boys and my wife's parents. We are almost always going somewhere or doing something with them on the weekends or on vacations, and I always insist on driving. So having the extra room was not a necessity so to speak, but more a creature comfort that for me just made sense. Now, I still love the look of the 2-door, and I think that it more accurately represents what the spirit of the Bronco is about, but I have fallen in love with the capabilities of the 4-door.

Since purchasing our Bronco, my wife's parents had a vehicle totaled through no fault of their own. And their lifestyle, like so many people's, necessitates having a second vehicle. So my wife and I decided to let her parents use the Ranger temporarily until they can get another car. In turn, the Bronco has gone from being a "fun" weekend vehicle to my daily driver...and honestly, I'm not mad about it. Even though the 2-door holds a special place in my heart, I absolutely love this thing, 4-doors and all!

So, whether you have a 2-door or a 'moardoor', we all have one thing in common...we all drive one of the most awesome vehicles on the road today! I hope everyone has a blessed day!

It's a good thing you didn't get that 2dr 4dr Jeep, that would've been terrible.

And y'know, if your family refused the backseat, you just offer 'em the hood.
