I have a 2024 Wildtrak, and the AC isn't very cold. The air is still a bit warm until I turn it all the way down to "Lo". Doesn't seem to make a difference if it is on recirculate mode or not. Anyone else have this issue?

Every spring I have to add about half a can of refrigerant and then it blows cold all summer long

Something to check

I'm glad I have the equipment left over from the battle with my wife's Honda CRV new refrigerant system issues. When mine starts blowing a little warm, I guess I'll be adding with the Bronco too.

You have a leak to fix.

Definitely not normal for a vehicle this new. I find the AC blows extremely cold (for front passengers...)

My 22 blows ice cold, colder than any of my previous toyotas (which were my previous gold standard).

I'd take a listen to your HVAC blend doors to hear if anything is snagging and bringing hot air into the mix. That, and get the refrigerant level topped off.

Did you check if the cabin air filter is clean?

I work in auto service. Youd be surprised how many times I see it.
Lol. I too have been a victim of something like this. Took my wife's truck in for regular service and told them the rear lift gate would not power open or close. Picked the truck up later that day and they said it's fixed, they pushed the button in the overhead console to turn the power feature on. I felt duuuumb.

I had my ac go out on a cross country drive. The belt shredded at about 25,000 miles on my base squatch with a 2.3.

Happens a lot with Fords, I had it happen on my old Mustang and current Bronco, and my bro had it happen on his '15 GT

Get it done while its still under warranty, or just done in general

You are not wrong - but right now it’s cheaper to top off than dive in and try to fix it

More to the story... Took it to a dealer, and they couldn't find anything wrong. They said the tech said it was blowing at 35 degrees. Must have been Celsius, as it doesn't get anywhere near that cold in Fahrenheit! I checked it with a very accurate chef thermometer in my vents, with the air set on 67 degrees, and my thermometer shows 92 degrees! When I set it to Lo, it blew 59 degrees. Seems to be a massive difference in actual temp for just 7 degree change on ac dial. Guess I'll try another dealer

Seems like for the fancy temp systems there is a temp sensor down by the drivers side knee that loves to have issues and feeds back to the hvac to tell it the cabin temp

92F may as well be heater running
