Looking for ideas on how to hand wash my Bronco. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, I have a reserved parking spot which offers no water access or electricity.
Anyone else in this situation that has figured it out? Self service car wash places don’t count.
Thanks in advance.

I use Griots Rinseless Wash and Wax for rv at storage lot and it works great. Add to bucket of water, wash and dry one area at a time.

There's multiple "waterless" car wash solutions you can buy. I used to use Chemical Guy's Waterless Wash but I imagine they're all pretty similar. You are going to need a waterless wash solution, lots of microfiber towels, a pump sprayer to make things a little easier and a bucket/bag to separate the clean from used microfiber towels. I would work one panel at a time and let the solution sit for a minute or two to loosen all the dirt. I'm sure some youtube video could explain a bit better than I can.

ok, just my opinion and experience. Waterless washes have their place, but honestly you need to load up some buckets, soap and a lot of micrtofiber towels and hit a self service place. You will never really get it clean without pre rinsing, scrubbing and rinsing again. I have found the spray detailers and waterless washes are really only good for light dust on the vehicle and after you use a california duster, so unless you never get bugs, or road spray or mud or dirt you gotta wash that sucker.

I carry a shortened dual battery lawn blower and blow off all the parkade dust and snow if get snowed on while waiting for warm up on start.

Quick detailer works well repelling stuff and some of it is quick clean and gloss combo but for real dirt need water. You could always get a back pack battery sprayer of desperate for water rinse often.

DIY car wash locations. Some say no bucket wash, but I’d go during slow hours so I wouldn’t upset anyone for taking too long. It was always empty early morning 6 am or evening around 7 pm.

I tried bucket washing at a self serve once in my old Tacoma when I lived in an apartment. No other customers waiting and I was sure nobody was working there. 2 minutes into the bucket stage and some fat guy comes out of nowhere and chews me out. He was really worked up. Must’ve been the owner.

Exactly why I was hoping for some creative ideas over and above self service car washes and waterless cleaners.

I lived in apartments for a few years of an early 2000s, and then I live in a condo 12 years

I forget what I did at my first apartment, but I wasn't too OCD about my vehicles yet so I probably took it to car washes, and I was pretty close to my mom's so I might've taken it there.

Second apartment had a car wash station, just like a self service car wash. However, I didn't really like that, so I got 100 foot hose and an adapter for my kitchen sink to hook up the hose to it. I was on the second floor and I would just run the hose out the door and down into the parking lot, and across the parking lot where I had a garage and wash inside the garage

I've also been seen people use backpack sprayers for motorcycles, probably not enough to wash a Bronco, but it'll give you some ideas.

My condo also had a car washing station (it was just up the street from my prior apartment, and the same developer had bought both complexes to convert to condos). But, it also had a hose bib by the dumpster so I just used that.

Lastly, if your fire department is volunteer, go join as I can't imagine any that wouldn't let active members use the hose bib and you'll be doing a great thing for the community. ;)

if self service was my only choice, I would try to find one where I could talk to the owner and ask them if I could bucket wash as long as I paid for the entire time that I was there. I would think they love it because they'd make more money since it takes longer and you aren't using their chemicals.

and then I'd drive to the nearest parking lot to wax
