Maybe take the bypass next time friend, or back out and fold em.

Hope it's not too bad.
There's not an official bypass right there at that spot, unfortunately. There is a place to his drivers side right at the crest of that entrance that people have cut through the woods, but it's not a part of the trail and the purists definitely get pissed when people start cutting through.

Well, that notch should be cut thicker. I could easily see a Jeep making the attempt, but a Bronco, let alone a Braptor, not at that entrance.

In the end, he did make it through, but hate to see the damage, although it's part of wheeling and I've got my pinstripes to show for my efforts. :)

Yeah, and I would've thought it was part of the trail work that happens in the offseason (Dec-April), but they didn't do much with that spot. Over the course of the year it gets really deep and rutted out from vehicles going the opposite direction and rutting it out.

A Raptor was in our group on a trail ride on Saturday. We were on a pretty tight trail in Colorado. This happened:

This is what keeps me from getting a Raptor. Otherwise I'd have one in an instant!
Those CO trails are no joke. We were in the San Juans last August and I had to crawl up on some rock ledges to avoid being too off camber. My Badlands with no poke was just skinny enough to stay on the ledge. Pasting link if anyone wants to see some awesome CO scenery!

Looking good. Those raptors are big at the hips that’s for sure.

If any Bronco needs quick release flares, it's the Raptor, and only trim that does not have it....
That is absolutely the truth! I am hoping that someone comes out with an aftermarket option, because I do not see Ford doing it.

I have skipped going through it the other 4 trips I have made, I knew it was going to be tight, probably leave a mark tight, risks noted and challenge accepted. I know who was the cause of the minor damage, and I won’t sleep any worse. Quick release fenders would be awesome, hopefully one day.

I was also surprised that there was no change made in that spot, or the one on falls dam, though the latter isn’t nearly as bad unless it is filled with water and mud. I thought for sure they would have filled them in, last year I went two weeks apart, neither of them looked like they do now on the first trip, two weeks later and I had to winch myself (Gladiator) up and out of the mud.

Been there, done that @Deadpool392
Wheeling with my Jeep buddies in the northeast is always challenging - when they squeak through tight trees and I come romping through like a bull in a china shop. My Tri-State Bronco buddies are significantly more understanding and compassionate about lines but the extra 8” width keeps me on my toes for sure!

Badges of honor. I have a huge dent in my driver's side door from sliding into a tree. I run no top, no doors for all the spring/summer so it's a big joke every year that I started a paintless dent repair business with before an after pictures showing the dent in the door and then the door removed :D

My brother took his F150 Raptor to Uwharrie. He was able to do most of the moderate trails, but it took forever as I had to guide him through a lot of it. It's just too damn wide.

Did you try to squeeze the Raptor in before taking the high line? you technically made it wider by putting it on the angle. I would rather scratch the wheels than the body... Painted fenders adds to the damage potential.

The Raptor is wide, but not as wide as a one ton axle swapped crawler with tall and wide tires/wheels on it. There are alot of 1ton swapped rigs on those trails.

Yeah unless your running an exoskeleton no way. I wrap my flares, easy cheap maintenance. After two years of abuse, I am probably redoing them this fall. I just hosed up a front one falling into a sinkhole that sent me into some tree branches.
