Again... In spline count, diameter, minor diameter, material and heat treat? Any of which could be an very real upgrade.

Spline count is also not a guarantee of either a larger diameter axle nor a stronger axle. It is correlated, but not guaranteed.

Torsional strength depends on:
  • Minor (root) diameter
  • Material
  • Heat treatment
  • Spline profile (involute vs straight)
You've given no proof that ford has done any upgrades to what you've listed above. It's just a wild guess with an Raptor ego behind it...IF ford was gonna do something special with the axles, then they certainly would have listed the upgrades similar to the ones they have available through ford performance for REAL hp. PROOVE ME WRONG!

5/14/2026 Update - New Videos & Updates
APG posted a longer-form YouTube video featuring the suspension install, videos of the Brap on whoops, etc:

Here's another clip posted by APG in an instagram reel:

I had the Braptor out at Raptors on the Rocks in Moab, Utah this past week for my first-ever trip to Moab for rock crawling and some shorter high-speed runs. Most of the trip was spent wheeling with not as many close-up shots due to the constant movement on the trails, but this was a good angle of the rear suspension droop with the APG long-travel suspension. This is a 40" Nitto Trail Grappler tire dropping below the body line:

That's some fantastic speed in good sized whoops with nice fast suspension cycling. Looks like a blast.

Do you have some kind of electronic dummy shock or shock bypass?

Hey what’s their reasoning behind running the bypasses in front of the coilovers? Kinda backwards from normal convention
They positioned the bypass shocks in front of the coilovers to better support the vehicle closer to the axle by reducing leverage/stress as well as design/fitment purposes. The valving, overall geometry, motion ratios, and tuning seem to generally make the front/back positioning less important in this setup given how I'm using it.

There was more room to go from a speed standpoint but this was running in 2WD and I want to get the swaybar auto-reconnect "feature" disabled so I can get more wheel travel out of the fronts. 4WD is not required in many of these straight line appraoches on the whoops so I wasn't running it at full tilt.

I have a Raptor R PCM with this V8 build so the engine builder was able to remove the shock position sensor provisions from the code so it doesn't throw any errors when the live valves are no longer seen. The Braptor thinks the shocks are there but is no longer dependent on getting any data from them to perform other calculations. It's been an interesting learning experience seeing how much or how little the electronic modules communicate with other devices on the vehicle's network.
