@Pony4x4 this is a good way to add the flaps to the rear … if you have the OEM Rock Rail

If you have the oem rock guards. Couldn't you install these on the rear of the rock guard? Just a lazy thought. But for the op argument when your rear tire hits the mud or muddy pot holes with momentum it will push the mud or muddy water forward. Doesn't have anything to do with tire tread.

BluMax3 offers them in different sizes and the plastic can be cut/ trimmed.

Kinda crazy how all the people dragging you on the first page called it a non-existent problem and there's plenty of people who have the same problem and solutions made for it šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Love the forum experts who actually answer questions though.

Since we're all sharing & feeling warm & fuzzy, I'll offer that I'd rather trash my Bronco than suffer the indignity of sporting mud flaps, or any other kind of flap. For the love of Pete...

Check your man cards, people! šŸ‘¹

You might give this .pdf a good read.
It has some excellent solutions.

I find it kinda like Facebook. You're either winning or losing. I read Facebook - but NO WAY I'm ever posting on it. LOL

Man, some of the people on here are ridiculous. Saying he is inventing a problem and talking about driving in reverse is 2 of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I live on a dirt road, and if its rained, my rock rails and back doors are covered with mud. Shocker, not all of it comes off the back. Plenty makes it around to fly off the front... if you cant be helpful, why not just keep your comments to yourself

might look into these myself. I added rock rails mostly to hide the pinch welds. I've thought about mudflaps but they have not yet become a priority. if they do, these may serve well.

Oh, you mean you have this problem…

Ford Bronco Mud flaps in FRONT of back tires IMG_1871

Yeah, it’s annoying and I discovered it early on. Same thing happens with slush in winter. Whatever you install, just make sure it doesn’t hang below the step level or an obstacle could force it into the front of the back tire, which could result in bad things.
