It says "not compatible with rock rails or step bars" Wondering if you have the same Ford tube steps on? (Part No: M2DZ16450BB) I saw an earlier post in which the guy putting both on had no problem but he did not use the existing holes when putting on the tube steps - had to drill them. Wondering if you had to do the same?

How well does it match the fender flare color / texture.

Looks good in the pic.

Hmm…. Odd.

Installing these onto my 4-door with side steps 100% required cutting out around the step. It looks like the 2-door side steps are sized correctly so that they don’t bump into the splash guard. Lucky!

What year make do you have? I wonder if the ‘22 side step accessory is slightly shorter than the ‘21 side steps.

Wait never mind I see your profile says ‘21. I guess 2-door owners are just going to have an easier install!
Yeah, every youtube video I watched requires them to cut around the steps. I was fully prepared with my Dremel. Nice surprise when I didn't need it.

I have the tube steps. I did not order them from Ford but they are the same as the OEM steps. Same dimensions and mounting brackets. Just $300 cheaper. I did not have to drill any new holes for the step install. They mounted on the existing holes.

There is a slight texture difference. The mud flaps are smoother, but not anything anyone else would notice. I don't even notice it unless I'm purposely looking for a difference.

Good to know. I'd been avoiding these because I thought I had read you had to drill into the front fender flares.
Don't work on SAS flares without some modding, just in case you have Sasquatch.

@Amcole1984
Are these for non sas?
Do they make a similar version for Sasquatch?

I was going to forego mud flaps - figured my 'soon to be installed' Rock Slide Engineering slider steps would suffice, but seeing that they still leave a pretty big gap at the front and driving in the foot of snow we just got I don't think I'm going to have a choice.

The snow/slush was just flying up the side of the Bronco - my door handles were caked, as was the front of the rear fender so much that it overlapped the back door by 4". I can only imagine that my sliders will be buried deep in slush if I do not get something...

$50 from Ford. Their warehouse is in the next town over from me. Ordered them Sunday, got them today. Took about 20 minutes to install. Fits perfectly with my side steps. No cutting of any kind required. I don't think they look bad at all. And with the winter storm about to hit DFW this week, I want all the protection I can get.

May be a silly question, but how did you get the Ford mud flaps to fit? Did you modify the side steps? I have a Big Bend, too. I just received my $50 Ford mud flaps today, but I have to first cut off the tip of my side steps or move them back an inch or two to allow clearance for the mud flaps....I attached a pic of my Bronco Big Bend with factory side steps!

Did no mods at all. My side steps line up perfectly with the body. They don't stick forward at all.
