First Bronco Build Complete – 2025 Outer Banks | Marsh Grey | Eibach 2.75" | 35s
The build is finally done.
This was my first time modifying a vehicle beyond basic accessories, so there was definitely a lot of learning along the way. Looking back, I probably spent almost as much time researching parts as I did waiting for them to arrive.
I started with a 2025 Outer Banks in Marsh Grey with the Black Appearance Package. I wanted a more aggressive stance, a little extra ground clearance, and a setup that looked like it belonged on the Bronco from the factory.
Build Specs
Suspension
- Eibach Pro-Truck Coilover 2.0
- Approximately 2.75" lift
- Zone Offroad Upper Control Arms
Wheels & Tires
- Black Rhino Rival BR025
- 17x8.5 +25 offset
- Matte Gunmetal with Matte Black Lip
- Toyo Open Country AT3
- 35x12.50R17
- Matching full-size spare
The Process
The hardest decision wasn't the suspension—it was the tires.
I went back and forth between ATs and RTs for weeks. Every time I thought I had made up my mind, I'd find another review or another build that made me reconsider everything. The RTs definitely had the aggressive look I liked, but I eventually landed on the Toyo AT3s and couldn't be happier with the choice.
There were plenty of moments throughout the build where I questioned whether I should go a different direction with the wheels, tires, or lift height. Being my first build, I wanted to get it right the first time and avoid spending money twice.
First Impressions
The Bronco turned out exactly how I pictured it.
The 35s fill the wheel wells nicely, the stance is much more aggressive without being over the top, and the Black Rhino Rivals complement the Marsh Grey paint really well.
The Eibach setup has also been a pleasant surprise. The Bronco feels more composed, more planted, and overall drives better than I expected.
Lessons Learned
- Research is great, but eventually you have to commit.
- Tire selection can become a rabbit hole very quickly.
- Build the vehicle you want, not the one everyone else tells you to build.
- Modifying vehicles is way more addictive than I expected.
I'm really happy with how everything came together. Huge difference from stock and exactly what I was hoping for when I started planning this build.
