Anyone know what thread pattern Ford used on the factory blow off valve bolts?
looking to install my boomba blow off from my Edge St.
I need 3 about 1 3/4”.
Ford changed the thread pattern between 2.7s.
Thanks

Measure the major diameter. It will be metric. It is a type "PT" thread forming screw.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m also looking for longer screws with the same threads as OEM.

Why not just pull the hose and cap the intake side?

I used some #12 x 1" sheet metal screws when we installed the Turbosmart BOV way back when. Our bronco is tuned with the Whipple calibration and we didn't experience any issues with those screws.

I found this trying to find a solution so.. answering in the event someone else finds the thread via Google

Ford part number

W506858S437

Cheaper from ebay vs ford who want 5 per screw. They come in a pack of 3 (so 15 from Ford as of this post or 6ish bux from ebay)

Same length (m6x35mm) screw that boomba sends but in the pitch ford uses for plastic. Ask boomba and they will say send it with the one they use. Probably a solid plan if you dont want to be able to quickly revent back to stock. Im guessing the new screw cutting a new thread wont work so well on the next pass

And on my 2.3 explorer a wiring harness post thing blocks the use of a bolt/nuts setup. .. so that was annoying

This is same for the MPC versions of the ecoboosts at least... corse threaded type. I think some Mustangs use it as well. Then others have a metal thing cast in the base for the fine bolts.
