Yes the bronco brakes do suck compared to most modern vehicles but not compared to 10-20+ years ago and especially anything with drum brakes…my model A with undated bendix self energizing brakes is still plenty scary when traffic stops on the freeway (never know what wheel is gonna lock or which way it is gonna go)…lots of scary stories about stopping all kinds of vehicles …drive accordingl…
