After 2 years of design and testing I believe I have perfected the design. Materials used include: 1/2 thick HDPE Plastic sheet, velcro straps, stainless stain slotted L brackets, M8x40 bolts, washers, 1/4 20 studs, two 3/8 thick spacers and adhesive rubber seals to keep it from scratching the plastic.

I plan to add my AC inverter under the shelf to make sure the power station stays charged. For now, I am trickle charging from the 12v. It's also tethered to the Bronco subframe incase of an accident.

That's a nice looking shelf. It doesn't vibrate around too much while in motion? I know those power stations can be heavy. It looks sturdy enough to support the weight for sure.

Have you had any issues trickle charging yours through the cargo power point? I know a lot of folks have come away with issues with the stock receptacle trying to charge power stations like this. Just something to be aware of.

I've been considering something similar after I picked up a similar Anker unit for cheap on Prime Day; I already upgraded my DC receptacle though but haven't done anything with mounting.

I have rubber washers to keep it from vibrating and the straps keep it firmly in place. It's very secure.

I had issues trickle charging with my first cable but updated to a better fitting 12v and have had no issues since.

Nice. Rubber washer are a good idea, wish I'd have done the same. Here's mine but for the 2-door, AC180 (very heavy) and Charger 2. I chose not to use the rear 12v port, it overheats. I used Rough Country and Turn Offroad molle panels for support. Currently a week into a 2-week overlanding trip, washboard roads, and it's held up, so far.

Just keep an eye on that rear bronco cigarette socket, I've had mine fail with a battery similar to yours plugged in for awhile. It will fail!

Good looking set up!! I too just wedge my EcoFlow in somewhere. On a separate note I love the XG cargo bags!! I love mine. Genius use of the space and quiet!!
