My only complaint is the lack of organized storage, but that’s easily overcome by different personalized accessories. Unfortunately, I’ve spent too much money on accessories that don’t end up working as well as I hoped.

I love the tech; from the locking diffs to the infotainment and digital cluster. Tech helped me make the purchase decision! I am shocked by the number of people that are wishing they had bought a 1995 Eddie Bauer edition…

Who named these switches "hero" switches??

I shake my head and cuss a bit whenever I think about this.

What does this term mean here?
What's makes the driver so heroic about using them?
Are the mechanisms themselves heroes?
Is this an acronym or abbreviation I'm not aware of?

they are just tools the driver can use to look skilled and do more.

I'm not the type who feels like I should be a hero just because..... well,

When I start up the bronco with the doors off, I'm greeted by a thousand beeps and warnings. "door system not connected" "passenger door ajar" I shift into D and i get "transmission not in park" with 10 beeps in a row. Like what? I get a warning for putting the car into Drive??

Then I finish a drive and put the car in park. Take off my seatbelt and I get a seatbelt warning with another 10 beeps. I can't clear it from the gauge cluster either. While sitting motionless in Park... (this one happens with the doors on as well)

There's just so much annoying software BS that I have to sit through/listen to everytime I drive

i bought a "tikit" seat belt delete. fuck it dont care it saves me from alllllll those dings.

Not being able to clear the seatbelt warning from the screen while in park. I despise nanny warnings.

I don’t mind the wind noise, but hate the random snap, crackle, and pop mine makes when the temperatures drop.

I had a 22 Bronco OBX non SAS lux package 2.3 l, auto, installed the Ford performance tune., and no it wasn’t a mall crawler. I took it to Moab and enjoyed a lot of trails I just limited myself to not crawling on large rocks. My choice limited by my ability. I waited 18 months to get the vehicle. Excited as a kid on the candy store when I got it. So displeasure consisted of all the items mentioned:
-top of the list highway road noise - deafening for a $60000 + vehicle. It’s a brick. Noise from the roof and tires at highway speed is unacceptable.
- with every update either over the air or dealer installed the performance tune was gone. Had to reload constantly. Check yours bet it’s no longer there.
- plastic interior is not only ugly it’s impossible to clean and looks terrible with all the scratches.
- the Radio upgrade is money wasted. The sound is horrible and even putting in new rear aftermarket speakers didn’t help much.
- the interior is always dark. Try and find anything at night in your car. The lighting is horrible. Aftermarket lighting helped but reliability is terrible as it’s cheap Chinese connections and low cost LEDs
- the list goes on and on yet Ford upgrades nothing,, recalls everything and raises prices constantly. - see ya Ford.

I'd like a twin-stick or at least manual lever transfer case. In my 2007 JK, the manual transfer case lever came in clutch during off-road situations or heavy snow storms that made parts of roads off-road. I guess I don't have to worry about the snow storms anymore, but it's much nicer than coming to a complete stop for a few minutes while you fiddle with the Atari 400 membrane buttons and the on-screen display.

My second gripe is Bronco owners griping about the Bronco they bought being a Ford Bronco and not a Land Rover or G-wagon.

Check some of the pricing Ford is charging Land Rover pricing and still climbing with every new model. Same with Jeep.

my auto stop stays off, thats telling me the tune is still there, and i have had many updates. all my FORscan changes have also stayed through all update. MY23 Badlands w/2.7

We get it, Bronco's are awesome. But there is always one thing that prevents it from being absolutely perfect.


This could be a maintenance issue, a design detail, wear and tear on a specific area or a small everyday annoyance.
