Why I said similar. Make the paint a shade or 3 lighter and change out the pinstriping. Thanks for the article. I like learning about the histories of some vehicles.

I've a Black Base headed my way so I'm still leaning to something like these two and wrapping the bumpers in 3M Chrome to go with the 75 Series Wagon Wheels. For the color, I was thinking of going with Grabber Blue / Velocity Blue instead of Orange/Red.

I know everyone loves the open roll cage, but I'd take a center crossbar to get that triangular B pillar ...

They could easily do a solid roof with a removable panel or sunroof. The advantage of having a roof over the driver is what made the Bronco more livable with the rear top removed. You could even get by in the winter to some degree. I know I used to wheel that way with the heater cranked and snow in the bed.

You can ride with the clamshell off and the front two panels on - would be a similar feel.
