For those that have traded up from a Sasquatch to a Raptor for a daily driver, how is it?

Went from a Badlands to Raptor after 6 months. I use the stock antenna to be my guide when i get into parking garages...they can get a little scary. So no windshield mounted KC's for me.

Ive used it a s a DD since ive owned in (3 years in October) and I have 44k miles on it. Never had an issue with narrow roads, parking, dings. The only time I hesitated and left an area was a parking garage that I didnt trust.

Its a smooth ride and easy to zip in and out of traffic if necesary.

AS far as rear windshield visibility because of the tire, you learn to use all mirrors real quick. Its not an issue.

Like others, I upgraded from 2021 Outer Banks Sasquatch to the Braptor. Holy cow, night and day. The Raptor rides so much better. I didn’t intend for it to be my daily driver but I’ll be darned, I drive it 95% of the time. You won’t regret the upgrade and the Raptor is even cooler on the beach.

Two years daily driving mine — the width is the real adjustment in parking decks, not the height. Mirrors fold and the camera system does the rest. Just budget for the gas mileage, that's the real trade-off.

I looked hard at a Raptor and wanted one, but stuck with the Badlands as I wanted to put a winch on it, and I haven't seen any decent Winch package options for Raptors. Whereas the Ford Performance winch package was available at the time, cheap, and slapped right on the Badlands. More or less. Since then, having upgraded the skid plates, added lighting, etc., I feel like the Raptor isn't as customizable as the Badlands.

What's out there for winches for Raptors? Asking out of curiosity.

I went with this option,

I love that it doesn’t have to be on all the time, so I am not carrying the extra weight up front.

Pull the FP winch setup off of your Badlands and transfer it to a Raptor. It works just fine. I even drilled the plate to accept my parking sensors. No issues.

Well, I just went and test drove one....it felt like a small car after driving the F-150 for 2.5 hours....and I loved it. Damn, I was thinking someone here was gonna talk me out of writing that big check, I see my future now. lol

My wife started off with a Bronco Sport, year later we got her the full size bronco Sasquatch, with outer banks trim, we both enjoyed that, then in 2024 our dealer had one 2023 (brand new) BRaptor on the floor, we drove it and the rest is history, I eventually bought one last year as well. A few recalls but whatever, we enjoy the BRaptors 100 percent.

I currently have a '24 Wildtrack that has a vibration that Ford can't fix, so one way or another I'm done with it. I purchased it originally because I thought it would be an awesome vehicle to have at the beach, which is where I spend most of my weekends. I also like having something smaller than my lifted crew cab F-150 to drive back and forth to work since I have to park in a parking deck. Other than the annoying vibration, this current Bronco fits the bill. It actually is a fun beach vehicle, and it is way easier to maneuver in a parking deck, but now I'm faced with having to decide what I'm going to replace the vibrator with, I find myself wanting to get a Raptor. The problem that I have is from everything I can read, it seems like I may just end up with 2 big a55 vehicles that are a little pain to drive around the city in and could be difficult to park. Admittedly the camera systems on the newer trucks, and the current Bronco I have takes some of the stress out of driving them, id still like to hear from those that made the jump what they thought about it.
Not sure if your vibration is same as mine but spent three years trying to resolve with new wheels, new tires, etc. Balanced about 8 times. Finally found cause was warped/bent drive shaft. Likely hit it off road at some point. Installed Adams double cardan drive shaft and she is smooth now. Zero vibration.

Had a Wildtrak initially. Traded it in and eventually moved to a Raptor. No regrets. The drive in the raptor is actually smoother and more comfortable on the road; the seats are better and more comfortable; and the extra engine oomph makes it feel like a hybrid sports car and truck.

Do it.
